I had every intention on liking this window car mount. It lasted about 1 week in good shape. Looks good and was easy to install. First thing to go wrong, was the tape was not strong enough to hold the mount onto my dashboard. I think the weight of the phone and the heat may have had something to do with it, but won't there always be 'heat' on a dashboard? And won't there always be some pressure put on the phone if you are pressing buttons on it while it is mounted? I then attempted to attach it to my window instead, as it gives you both options. Only to find out the piece behind the window mount is NOT an adhesive. So.... how is this phone supposed to be held onto the window with this flimsy vinyl film? It's not... In a final attempt to keep the mount, I found a way to adhere it to my dashboard more strongly and was happy for another day or 2. Only then did one of the phone grips break off and I now am not able to use it at all. Needless to say, I am done with this mount and moving on to something that is much sturdier. It is not sturdy enough to hold a smartphone and be careful that you make sure your phone fits into the mount. With my protective plastic case on my phone, it was almost a non-fit.
