I purchased this car seat bag prior to a recent trip. I already had one car seat bag for my two year old son's car seat but needed a second one for my daughter. The difference in the two car seat bags was amazing. This bag is by far a better bag. It is well made and very durable. The first time I used my other car seat bag it got ripped and I had to patch it. This bag still looks pristine after two airline flights and everyone knows how rough baggage handlers can be. I definitely would recommend this product..I am even considering buying a second one to replace my son's car seat bag. It is higher quality and worth the money.
This was exactly what I was looking for, it made our trip to disneyworld so much easier. We have two children 3 and 1 and lugging two carseats was going to be a pain. These bags are the absolute best we've found, for durability, size, functionality, and ease of use. The only negative I've come across is that the clip has a tendency to unhook as your walking, but that's not a big deal. The material is very heavy duty and the reverseability to a sun shade came in handy and definetly made a difference on the kids seats. Definetly a must buy for a traveling family. A side note as well....the BEST price I found, and then when I got them and saw the quality, what a great product!
This product was very easy to use. We had our carseat zipped up in only a couple of minutes. The only feature I would add is a second strap to it can be carried like a regular backpack. All in all it was worth the money!
My husband and I just used this bag on a trip from California to Minnesota. This was a life saver! With our 2-year-old, his stroller, and carry-ons including my husband's laptop bag, our camera bag, and our diaper/treat bag for our toddler, we needed a creative solution for toting along the car seat through the airport and onto the plane along with all the other stuff. This bag was fantastic! In the future when he is old enough to sit in the airplane seat without the car seat, the backpack straps are easily removable to check the bag and car seat. It fit not only our car seat (brittax), but we also added a little portable tray and our coats to the bag, as well. It was great! It will be with us every time we travel through the airport. Worth the money spent. i was worried the car seat (standard size) wouldn't fit, but it did along with his high chair booster seat and a blender we picked up!
This item was great to use when considering flying and do not the car seat on board the plane. It however does have a couple of holes in the bag not from bad worksmanship but from being tossed off and on the airplane. it is a little cumbersome to get the seat into the bag but once you get it, it does become a little more easier. All in all this was well worth the price and did its job.
Served it's purpose for our travels. I needed something I was able to carry like a back pack and still be able to push the stroller and pull my carry-on. Didn't hold up that great through the baggage system. Did end up with wear spots but we were on 6 planes in 2 weeks. It is a great value.
It served the purpose and protected our carseat during our travels, the only 'complaint' I have is that we had trouble with the adjustable strap. We could not set the strap length so it constantly knocked against my husbands knees. Otherwise, a useful product.
When I bought this I was a little disappointed because it only comes with one strap. The picture on the box shows a guy holding it very comfortably. The strap kept on getting loose. I ended up tying it in so many knots. But it worked. The only real thing I don't like about it is the velcro part at the top of the strap. That part doesn't need to be there. Other than that it is a good bag for the price. It does seem to be very durable which is good. I used it to travel this past week on my flight and put it through baggage and it held up very well.
While I liked the ease of placing the car seat in the cover I am NOT at all pleased with the performance. My first trip through baggage claim the front was torn. It is fairly thin material but since it is nylon I expected better than one trip before any wear or tear in the product.
