DashSkin Molded Half Dash Cover for 07-13 Silverado LS/LT & Sierra SL/SLE in Dark Titanium

Fix your cracked 07-13 Chevy/GMC pickup dashboard with a molded ABS dash cover from DashSkin! This is a half-cap, it covers only the main section of the dash (does not cover defrost). Please see our full dash cover in the related products below. This cover is molded to the exact shape of your vehicle's dashboard, and mounts right over the top to cover cracks and holes. It requires no special tools to install, and mounts using adhesive (included). The workmanship of the cover is warranted for life against cracking, warping, etc. DashSkins even work great with large pieces of dash missing, as long as there is enough dashboard left on all edges (perimeter) to serve as a stable and level foundation for the cover. If you have cracks you will be covering, we advise cleaning your original dashboard well with degreaser, and bracing any cracks using 100% silicone RTV adhesive to prevent further cracking or rattling. It is compatible with 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Silverado LS, LT, and Work Truck trims, and 07-13 Sierra SL, SLE, and Work Truck trims (in other words, only fits DUAL GLOVEBOX style dashes). HOW TO HELP STOP ANNOYING RATTLES: If your dash is rattling or sqeaking, using EXTRA silicone adhesive in all of the cracks can help make a huge difference! Apply the first tube of silicone that is included with the cover to the underside of the skin just like the instructions specify, then use your extra adhesive (purchased from us or at any hardware store, 100% silicone RTV adhesive) to apply directly to the dash itself to fill all cracks with a thick bead of silicone, and outline any holes (if you have holes) with the silicone just before installing the cover. We don't recommend allowing this to cure first, apply the skin while all of silicone on the cracks is still wet so the cracks bond to the underside of the skin, this way the cover can help hold everything still like a membrane of support. If you have rattles coming from underneath the dash, obviously this surface treatment will not help stop those noises, but for the vast majority of our local installs, this little trick works extremely well! NOTE: If the clips under your defrost dash panel (nearest the windshield) are broken, be sure to consider applying some silicone to the broken clips as well to hold that piece still, this can be a hidden source of rattles as well.
