These pants are created to go over an actual pair of underwear. When my grandmother had her kids this is what they used! If you dont want to clean up a possible accident, dont buy! Use a pullup if going out in public until they can control their body! All in all this is a brilliant idea: if it worked 60 years ago, it will work now if used properly.
They work as intended....but I prefer how the Gerber brand fits my daughter. These were too loose, so took off a star for size. Since some reviewers aren't aware let me say this: They are VINYL....thus not made to be absorbent! They go OVER a cotton training pant to help make leaks preventable in the case of an accident. Great for when going out of the house or for overnights when potty training a toddler.
They did not keep my son dry. His pants would get wet when he would pee. The inside could be a little more insulated/
As soon as I got them, I put one on my daughter, and within 5 minutes she was completely wet. Not what I expected, I thought they would be more absorbent and waterproof, but it wasn't.
