We have baked several types of foods on these pans without buttering or greasing and have had nothing stick. The surface is so non stick that you have to be carefull removing the pan from the oven or your meal might slide right off. When using the pans we measured the baking surface with a infrared thermometer. The heat dispersion is even from corner to corner with no hot or cold spots. The pans are well constructed and do not feel flimsy. The two tone color of black on grey looks fantastic. The bottom and sides of the pans are textured assuring a good grip when wearing oven mittens. while they might seem a little pricey they are a must have for anyone that enjoys spending time in the kitchen. What can you say, I own nothing but Calphalon Products, I give them to my family members as gifts so now they know what quality is! And its spelled Calphalon!
Originally thought the price was on the high side, but after using the baking sheets my opinion has changed. These are by far the best baking sheets I have ever used. Between the quality and ease of use they’re a tremendous value in time and effort saved. I’ve never had a cooking pan that cleans up this easily. A little hot running water and a paper towel and they are spotless. My biggest aggravation with baking sheets is residue that no matter how much you scrub they never get completely clean. I have a Calphalon cooking set and the non-stick ceramic coating is superior to them. Simply put the baking sheets are amazing! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
A very nice and durable set of pans. Absolutely nothing will stick on them, and they are very easy to clean. They are on the heavy side, not flimsy. My only issue is that I don't like the rough coatings on the bottoms. I'm afraid that if they are stored inside one another. the rough bottom may scratch. The sleek design of the new Calphalon bakeware set raised my expectations immediately as I removed it from the box. I think this cookware is a perfect example of a quality product without a high price tag attached to it. I put it to the test and decided to try out several new cookie recipes piling up in my recipe box. The Calphalon cookie sheet did a fantastic job at producing moist, perfectly cooked cookies. I think it may have been the first time Ive ever set the timer according to directions without constantly having to go to the oven and check to make sure it hasn't burned. I think this can be attested to the design, having a high performance ceramic coating. Next, I tackled my grandmother's classic home-style meatloaf. The end result was a moist and juicy meatloaf, earning some rave reviews at the dinner table that right. It also is great for quick and easy meals when you're on the go and don't have a lot of time. One of our family favorites is cheese quesadillas and chicken tacos, which turned out better than expected. No stuck on cheese or uneven doneness. I also disovered my favorite feature of this cookware...the easy cleanup! There was no scrubbing or scouring. A sponge and some soapy water had it sqeaky clean in seconds. Lastly, I put it to the test oven frying hand cut french fries. I have to say I was extremely impressed with the fact that it cooked so evenly, crisping in the french fries without burning. Overall, I think this is a fantastic product for those who love to cook. The bakeware is durable and stylish all while producing perfectly cooked food. I bought these pans because I love all things calphalon. I have never been dissapointed with anything I have purchased before now. Let me start by saying these pans are easy to clean,nothing sticks (which is a JOY) they are also good, heavy pans and well worth the money I paid. ....however, they warp! No matter what I'm cooking five minutes in I hear the loud *pop* and the pan is warped up and all my food will be burnt on one side and not hardly done on the other.They do go back to normal after cooling .To say I am dissapointed is an understatement. I truly love the calphalon brand and feel like this is an issue that needs addressing.
I love all things caphalon but I have a few of the bakeware pieces and they are not of the same quality as the cookware. My set has white spots on it and it warps and burns in certain areas. They are now what appears to be damaged which makes me hesitant to use again for fear of burning my food. All of the caphalon I own is use and wipe right off. Is this the cheap version of caphalon? If so, has anyone purchased the more expensive bakeware and received better results?
Good overall pans but within about 3 washes they began to rust on the inside lip of the pan. Anytime I wash it now there a rusty mess. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Bought these a few months ago, and the non-stick aspect is decent, not amazing, but the biggest concern is, as a previous reviewer mentioned, these warp anytime heat is applied while baking. I've followed the proper care and instructions, but always hear a loud noise, and the pans become warped when in the oven. Definitely not up to the "signature" brand that I expected from. I would not buy these again, nor recommend them.
