Need to replace the plug as old plug may not be working . I hear when I turn on fryer makes noise but does not heat up??
I love this mini deep fryer! It is the perfect size for cooking snacks AND wings in no time. I love that it has temperature dial to keep the oil consistence. You can also take out the basket and have more room. My household is small and this definitely works great. The oil can be stored in here if you don't have an oil can. It a perfect travel size too to take in a RV or camper. I'm very happy with my purchase.
This is my second t-fall fryer. The first I had for 2 years and would have given it 5 stars. It only needed replacing because I dropped it while cleaning it. Received my new one a few days ago. Didn't seem to be getting hot enough so used my electric thermometer. Sure enough it was only getting to 344 degrees. These fryers are small. If you can't start out at that hot temp when you add food it lowers the temp too much and the food absorbs grease. I'll be taking this back for a refund.
I thought this would be bigger, I was wrong.
