These shoes seem to be a great buy. They're comfortable, functional . . . and, so far, durable. I bought them to meet the standards of a mail carrier on the cheap. I beat the street a lot on my route and they are sure-footed. If they stay the course, then I will buy them again.
These shoes were recommended to me by a co-worker. He said when you put them on they feel like they are already broke in. I had never bought a pair of shoes that I did'nt have to break in. I went to Walmart and bought the shoes he told me about. The first night I wore them I probably walked 10 miles on my shift and they felt so good on my feet. About three months after I purchased my first pair I went back and bought another pair. Thank you so much for selling a comfortable shoe that is affordable. DJ
I bought my first pair of these shoes a little over 11 months ago. Up to no they have been in great condidtion. These shoes are very comfortable to work i, espically during long shifts! At the same time they look exactly like tennis shoes, about to go buy my second pair soon!
I have worn these shoes everyday to work in the resturant business for months now. They have definately served their purpose!!! I would buy again when the time arrives.... today for example. I have worn these shoes into the ground I have to cave in and buy myself another pair!! I suggest you do the same!!!!!!!!!!!!
The captain shoe is a very comfortable, practical shoe. This the 3rd pair I have purchased. I like them because they are light and comfortable and priced real resonable. I can usually get about 2 years of wear out of them, this is with wearing them 5 days a week for 2 years. Good shoe, I recommend it.
I've only had these shoes for a short time, but so far, no problems. They fit well,feel good and look good. The price isn't bad at all and they seem to be of good quality. Time will tell. I do alot of walking on the job, so if there are any problems, I should know before long.
My work situation: --Busy kitchen. 5-6 days/wk. 8-10 hrs./day-- --Pros: This shoe is no shining gem but if you need an affordable shoe that handles well in the kitchen, this one fits the ticket. It does very well on oily/greasy floors & is lightweight. The sole is thick enough to be comfortable, even during those 12+ hr. days. From past experience with this brand I know I can expect them to look "presentable" for about 3 months & start to fall apart in about 6. --Cons: This shoe does not "breathe" well, but I find it tolerable.
We've had more ice in our area and since I've owned these I do think they make a difference. I feel more secure on a lot of different surfaces. I have to wait to give them my 6 month test though. It seems that no matter what brand that is in this price range they rarely make it past 6 months and I feel lucky if they do, however, after a couple months these look like they will go above and beyond my test.
I LIKED THESE SHOES THEY LASTED ABOUT AS LONG AS MOST WORK SHOES DO THAT YOU WEAR IN FAST FOOD I WOULD RECOMEND THESE TO SOMEONE TO WEAR. I WORK 40+ HRS EVERYWEEK AND I HAD THESE SHOES FOR ABOUT 6 OR 7 MONTHS WHICH IS PRETTY GOOD IN FAST FOOD I THINK
i have been buying this shoes for almost 3 years.in the last 2 month i have bought 3 pairs all 3 pair hurt my feet i never had this promblem before.i like this shoes because i work in the kitchen where it can be very slippy and i have never fell wearing this shoes.i always buy men shoes because they use to be more bigger i always bought a 8.5 wide but it seems like i cant find that size .i writting this because i hope you can help me find the shoe .i still like this shoe for work dont want to try another brand. the type i buy the item number is 2572075 grill 8.5 wide hope you can help me.
