Goodyear Viva 2s are excellent tires for anyone on a budget. I am on my second set on my Olds Delta 88 and will not put any other tire on this car. My last set still had about 25000 miles worth of tread but I had to make a sudden stop and flat-spotted them, shortening their usable life. I also had a set on my wife's old Honda Cr-V. The tread lasts forever it seems. They handle admirably in any weather. They even handled well the few opportunities I had to drive in snow. I will continue to buy these tires as long as Goodyear still makes them and Wal-Mart carries them. My only real complaint is the ammount of road noise they generate.
After reading the other reviews on these tires I didn't really know if I wanted to buy these tires. Most of the reviews were positive but some made me worry about the tires holding up. Well I am happy to say that all of the negative reviews are wrong. I have put 2500 miles on these tires already and they are great. The traction is excellent, handle great on water, and there is no road noise. I put these on my S10 and pull a trailer so traction and handling are a must. I would fully recommend these tires to anyone and the price is the lowest besides the cheap poor built Douglas which I have used before and will never go that route again
