Great tire

In my history of using the Assurance all seasons, this is the best tire I have used. Compared to the base model of the tire... It is great especially in taking a hit to an unavoidable pothole. There have been may times I have went turtle mode in my car after hitting a pothole. These are a stronger tread, and I am glad I don't have to lose any time replacing one. They last a lot longer too! I may have to nearly full price on the next set! They hit their prorate mileage. That's even with me driving on numerous types of roads.

I've been a hunting, fishing off-road guy for over 35 years and have had LandCruisers, 4Runners, Yukons, Range Rovers etc and have been buying BFG AT's since back then and when I went in to get another set of the KO2's well, they didn't have my size so I decided to go with what my hunting buddies have been raving about the Toyo AT3's and so far with over 20k plus miles on them I've NEVER ever looked back. My previous KO2's have served me well but even when new they would slide side to side making me very nervous that my fenders would come into contact with trees next to the trail and this was in "ALL" of my 4x4's while driving up a muddy clay slope that I frequent during hog hunts but these Toyo AT3's didn't slip not even once, WOW! Not at all any louder than any other AT and absolutely LOVE THESE TIRES!!

Outstanding Rugged Terrain Tires I recently upgraded my vehicle with a set of rugged terrain tires, and the transformation has been remarkable. These tires are specifically designed for the toughest conditions, and they have exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Durability and Build Quality: From the moment you see these tires, it's clear they are built to last. The sidewalls are reinforced to prevent punctures, and the tread is aggressive and deep, providing excellent grip. After several months of use, including off-road trails with sharp rocks and deep mud, there are barely any signs of wear. These tires can handle just about anything you throw at them. Performance: The performance of these rugged terrain tires is outstanding. On rocky trails, the traction is superb, giving you the confidence to tackle challenging terrains. In muddy conditions, they clean out well, maintaining their grip without getting clogged. Even on wet and snowy surfaces, these tires provide excellent stability and control. Comfort and Noise: One might expect rugged tires to be noisy and uncomfortable on paved roads, but I was pleasantly surprised. While they are slightly louder than standard road tires, the noise is minimal and easily tolerable. The ride quality is also very comfortable, absorbing bumps and uneven surfaces effectively. Versatility: These tires aren't just for off-road enthusiasts. They perform well on highways too, making them an excellent choice for those who need a versatile tire that can handle both daily commutes and weekend adventures. Whether you're driving through city streets, highways, or challenging off-road trails, these tires provide consistent performance. Value for Money: Given their durability, performance, and versatility, these rugged terrain tires offer excellent value for money. While the initial investment might be higher than standar

Good set of replacement tires.

The time came to replace tires on my 2020 Fusion. OEM tires lasted almost 35k before they started to show signs of dry rot in the South Texas sun. Couldn't beat the value of the Assurance All Season for the low profile tire size. I've just passed the 60-day return mark, and I'm happy to keep these tires for however long they last. Traction, noise, comfort, and pretty much any other day-to-day metric is little to no different than OEM tires.

Perfect size, load capacity and tire weight

No other tire maker offers a 34 X 10.50 X R17LT (except BFG for 150% more money). I have run these now for six months on 8.5"-wide Method 705 wheels. These measure 33.5". I share the opinion of others more knowledgeable than I that a narrower tire is better for everything except sheer grip on pavement. A narrower tire is lighter for it's selected diameter and load range, does not push as much loose soil or sand out in front of it and when airing down for this kind of off-highway travel a tire's contact patch grows more in length, anyway. If you're thinking of a change to a sub-11" tire width, these are the tires to have. I'd sure like to see more people running them so we can remain hopeful that Toyo will continue to offer them. For a full-size 1/2 ton truck, SUV or Jeep, these are the ticket. Don't hang 75+lb tires on your 1/2 ton! (if it's a 3/4 ton, have at it) Meanwhile, these are just about the perfect do-it-all tire for pavement transportation then off-highway travel through the high deserts of the western states which is where our experience lies.

Have run these on 2 Jeeps from 2021 and Wet Roads performance is Terrible; otherwise, a good tire.. Really liked 11.50s for Load "C". Have now resulted in Tire "Gooving" to cut additional edges hoping to improve WET and did get a slight improvement.

Don't buy if you live off gravel road

I have had several sets of Goodyear tires. In fact, they were the only tires I wanted to buy. I bought a set of these tires in November 2023. They did great in the snow and highway. I now have 4 repairs on the tires from gravel roads. These tires can't handle the gravel. They get small cuts from rocks in the grooves. It's so sad. I would absolutely not recommend for Iowa gravel roads.

Tires coming part

I bought these tires and installed in my 2006 f250. The first two sets of tires were BFG's for 60ish k out of both sets. I don't like the traction I got from them so I switch to Toyo rugged country. I wasn't sure about the tires at first. As they would never balance out. I went from a very good ride to a very rough and out of balance/round tire. The install store told me it was a big tire… they are gonna ride rough. "Man my BFG'S didn't". At about 22k the right rear came apart at highway speeds. The cap literally separated from the tire. "22k" on this tire. I was told there was nothing they would do.. it looked like it was low and got hot. I said "I have a TPMs light… it was not low.. it came apart at high way speeds and you can't find anything in the tread "I didn't hit anything" They said… though luck… now here I am.. 8k more and the left front tire cap is coming off. I will never buy a set of Toyo tires again. I'm gonna look up the parent company of this tire and they will be band like "bud light" to me.

Since Covid, my driving has greatly decreased. So I expected these tires to last, as I am no stranger to Goodyear's Assurance line of tires. This set, however, only went as far as 51K miles & I'm already being told I should replace them. So, I am hoping to hold out until late fall/start of winter before I buy my next set, however I seriously doubt it will be this line again.

"I didn't hit anything" They said… though luck… now here I am.. 8k more and the left front tire cap is coming off. On the outside edge.. looks kinda like the first tire to me. I feel like this company has a product problem and they are unwilling to fix it. They just keep screwing the customer over saying… if I can just get a few more bucks.. I will never buy a set of Toyo tires again. I will never by anything from this company again. I'm gonna look up the parent company of this tire and they will be band like "bud light" to me.
