[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this is so cool! I often play games on my phone and depending on the game sometimes just using the regular game settings on my phone they can be hard to play. With the razer kishi gaming is much more fun! Easy to attach to my phone or take off. Did not damage my phone in any way. Perfect for anyone who likes to play games on their phone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my nephew as a birthday present. He was super excited to try it since he's a gaming fanatic. He connected it really quick to his iPhone XR and said it works great, just like a controller that he can take on the go.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome. My son had trouble using his phone to play games. He finds this so much easier. The controls are well placed and easy. It seems sturdy enough to last awhile too, always a good thing with kids.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be more excited about my new Razer Kishi for my iPhone! This not only opens up a whole new world of possibilities for me to play new games, but totally enriches my experience playing the ones I already have been! I had no idea what I was missing out on (well, kinda) but this has made it all so much better. My phone has basically morphed into a Nintendo switch with this! The hand feel is just like a real controller! The buttons are top notch and super responsive. There's even a way to optimize charging while playing which is so awesome because everyone knows how certain games especially those with top notch graphics can really drain the battery life. I can't wait to discover all the new games that await me with my new gaming capabilities on my iPhone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised at how well this product worked with my iPhone. I can admit, I was a little skeptical because it's rather small and light weight but honestly that's one of the best parts of the device. It's so convenient and easy to use. I take it with me on the go and is honestly such a great product. I would recommend this product to friends and family any day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is super fun for my daughter. It's like having a handheld gamer. Works well on the phone and stays on well. The type of games that she uses this with seem to glitch sometimes and that can cause interference but has only happened a couple times. All in all, this is a fun phone accessory that turns your phone into a gamer. Would recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested the Razer Kishi Mobile controller on an iPhone SE. I was initially frustrated in finding games compatible with it and soon realized sticking to the Apple Arcade games was my best bet. I tested mainly on Oceanhorn 2 but also played a bit of Slash quest. Plugging it in is relatively easy though I did have to remove my cover for it to properly reach the lightning port. There are two sets of pads that go in each side to help grip the phone. While my phone was not listed as compatible in the packaging, the website indicated it would work fine. The manual doesn't say much about its operation beyond replacing the pads and opening the controller from its collapsed state. It also recommends downloading the Kishi app, though the app doesn't do much beyond updating the firmware and providing a bit more documentation. It would be nice if it included a list of currently compatible games. The controller locks into a compact size for storage and is fairly lightweight. Connecting it is a matter of plugging in one side into the lightning port and the other into the grip pad of the left side. Once it is plugged in, one of four indicator lights come on to let you know it is working. The controller itself feels solid with a good grip for my hands. My hands tend to the small side, but it did not feel overly bulky or uncomfortable to grip. The right side where it plugs in felt sturdy. However the left side felt a little loose, perhaps because this controller is meant more for bigger phones like the 12. At one point it accidently came apart in my hand and I had to plug it back in. This was doubly annoying since I had to restart the game to get it to recognize the controller again. The analog sticks feel smooth and responsive, as do the Face buttons. The L2 and R2 buttons are a little noisy and sound a little like they are rubbing against something that could wear out. But they worked fine regardless. Overall I like the device, though I think the price is a bit high vs controllers for consoles. It's also a bit disappointing that you can't use the auxiliary lightning port for anything but charging, but wireless headphones work well enough. Even without those, the controller is designed to pipe the audio out of its face, which does help to hear without accidently blocking the speakers with your hands as you would while clutching the phone by itself. I do appreciate that the power cord plugs into the bottom rather than the side, which usually makes it awkward when playing without the controller.
The controller feels great but the left side does not work. They also put the wrong charging cable in the box. I wouldn't recommend this version.
The connection on the game pad to my iPhone 11 wasn't working
I placed an order for 3 units and I only got 1
