I bought this lamp for my desk at the office and it's so feminine (like me!), yet gives out enough light to do my work with. I have received several compliments on it. The only thing I would say is don't be fooled by the picture - it's not a glass lamp shade - it's plastic. But I'm overall very satisfied with the purchase of this lamp!
this lamp has a CLEAR shade, which means that the light is going to shine BRIGHTLY! i have a large living room with only a ceiling fan to light it up, so this lamp was PERFECT! i love the look of it and i the amount light it gives off! if you wanted to make it not so bright i'd suggest using a colored bulb or a really low wattage bulb or just change the shade! I REALLY LOVE THIS LAMP AND WILL ORDER A FEW MORE!!
I am very much into art pieces and I purchased these lamps on a whim that they would meet my expectations. They surpassed them! I purchased two and I couldn't be happier! They are absolutely beautiful.
Great For the money. I bought it for my teenage son's room without consulting him , and he actually likes it. How often does that happen with teenagers?
I bought 2 of these lamps for my 12 y.o. daughter's room. They put off alot of light, which is exactly what she wanted. The shade is plastic so it is easy to clean. They look great in her room and she absolutely loves them.
I purchased this for my son's bedroom. I wanted something that wasn't too costly, and something that was attractive, but not "frilly" at all. This lamp met my expectations/criteria. It was very simple to put together. I did so myself in under 5 minutes. The chrome base is very lightweight. The shade compliments it perfectly, being that it is translucent, plenty of light filters through. It looks great, way too contemporary for my taste, but perfect in a masculine space.
The lamp shade is very cheap but other than that it looks good. The ring around the top and bottom of the shade keeps popping off but it's easily but back on and if you glue it it stays put. Other than that my daughter loves it.
This lamp will add a nice contemporary touch to your household (I purchased a couple for my living room). Like the others have mentioned, said lamp will give off plenty of light. Also, previous comments have mentioned that the shade looks rather cheap, which is true. I got around this problem by wrapping some handmade, fine art paper that I had around the exterior. It gave the lamps a more unique, higher-end look!
the lamp looked very nice online. but when I got it it looked cheapy. A bedroom lamp like this is supposed to give a light and intimate glow for nighttimes but this one because of its bad quality shade glows like the sun had entered your bedroom. I guess it would be good for a restaurant setting not a bedroom or anywhere in the house.
It is a pretty lamp, and it was easy to assemble. The problem with the one I received was that it arrived dented, and the chrome lamp shade just didn't looked good because of it. My other problem with it was that the chrome shade is sort of cheap, but I suppose that's what you get for the value. It was glued, so it easily came apart.
