The only thing our four-year-old daughter wanted for Christmas this year was "a chair to rock [her] baby dolls in." I looked at charis that were much more expensive than this one, but ultimately decided that they all looked pretty much the same, so I didn't want to pay more. This chair was very easy for my husband to assemble, and the fact that it came in pink was super. We had a very, very happy little girl on Christmas morning. She is very tall for her age, but it fits her great. And her 18-month-old sister likes to sit in it when she gets the chance, too.
This model is a bit heavier than the others... it is equivalent to some that cost twice as much. Assembly uses the IKEA type connections. It took a bit of time, but is very sturdy. Perfect for heavier toddler or even preschooler.
It is exactly what i was looking for
Despite the age suggestions, we bought this for my daughter's first birthday. She likes it and can grow into it. Right now she loves pushing it around so she can walk around the room. It's solid wood and has a great espresso finish. My husband said it was pretty easy to put together and did so in about 20-30 minutes with just the tools that came with it. We are very happy with our purchase.
We purchased this for our 7 month old Grandson, and had looked at several online and in the stores. And we are so glad that we chose this one! It is very solidly built and better than we had expected! Would recommend to others! Thanks!!
Exactly what is pictured! The color from the photo is very accurate to the color we received (pink). This item was so simple and easy to put together. It did have a tiny chip in the paint on the corner of one of the back pieces, but isn't noticeable at all (unless you're looking for it). It is very sturdy and worth every dollar spent! So far, my daughter finds it difficult to rock. She is 18 months old and is still a little small for it. But she knows how to rock rocking chairs! I'm hoping as she grows into it more, it rocks better. But we are still very happy with this item.
It was a little smaller than I expected, but my 2 year old son fits in it perfectly. Very easy to assemble too. If I could only find some little cushions to fit, it would be perfect.
What a cute chair! My granddaughter simply can't stay out of it! The only problem I had was the assembly process (came with great directions and numbered pieces) some of the holes were not bored straight. So we had to run the screw in and out a couple of times to fix it. I'm not crazy about the age range. The box says 3-8 years old. I wouldn't recommend it for a child over the age of 4. And really it depends on the child. The chair is tiny. However it suits our needs.
We purchased the pink rocking chair for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday. We haven't given it to her yet, but we know she will really enjoy it. The pink is a very soft, girlie color. We would have given it an overall rating of 5 stars, but my husband had to drill out some of the holes where the screws go. They were not drilled through long enough.
I have been looking for a rocking chair for my 16 month old for over two months and did not want to pay the $100 price for many I was seeing that were not 100% solid wood or were too busy with themes for my taste. I purchased this rocker in cherry and love it. The assembly was easy and the pieces were all solid wood. I can clean it with Clorex Wipes and it does nothing to the finish. It is a great size for a toddler. My little girl loves it and I found a great product within our budget!
