This is a wonderful little table. Although designed for children's use, I am actually using it to hold an oversized bird cage. It is well made, easy to assemble and very attractive. It looks like a piece of furniture that matches my other black pieces. I would definitely recommend this item.
I purchased this as a table for my child to use as a home school desk. The table has lots of room to work at. The table seems to be well built and sturdy. My child loves the little drawer in it. The table was easy to assembly. WalMart had the best price for the table and shipping was FREE since we had the item deliver to our local WalMart.
I got this for my 5yr old to replace her little plastic table and chair. I wish I had gotten this earlier since it is very roomy for her art crafts. I am sure she will use this later for school work. You can not beat the price. We also got the 2 chairs with it but that is another price
This table is well-made and very sturdy. It is real wood and will last a very long time. We use it for reading, puzzles, snacks, and playtime. You won't be disappointed. Mine only arrived with three legs which was very frustrating because I wanted to use it that day, but I called the 1-800 number, and the leg was Fed-Exed within a couple of days.
Easy to assemble! We bought it as a desk for our 6 y/o. It's very sturdy & he loves it! He's been holding "business meetings" in his room ever since he got it!
I was on the verge of (reluctantly) purchasing the pastel Carolina set from PBKids; I love it, but couldn't quite justify the cost. On a whim, I thought I'd check Wal-Mart.com, and, as luck would have it, found this! Completely different look that works well with my family room decor, it's the perfect height--not too tall, not too short--for all three girls, and I am amazed at how solid each piece feels--no concerns of this set falling apart anytime soon! I purchased two tables to give them a larger area to work on together, as well as four chairs, which also are the perfect size--the 7-year-old fits comfortably, and there is no 3-year-old falling off! :) I'm so glad I purchased this very sturdy and durable set, and several of my friends have ordered the same set after seeing it in my home. Your kids will love it!
Perfect for my almost 5 year old son. We use it for his computer. Very sturdy and looks great.
We purchased this table as an upgrade to a table and chairs we had for our kids. The other table was shorter, smaller and didn't have a drawer. The other chairs kept breaking. This table is very solid build, with a higher larger table that suites our kids (ages 9, 6 and 4) just fine.
I purchased this for my 3 1/2 yar old as a computer table. The table height is good for her (she's on the smaller size) and is perfect for my 7 year old nephew. So, I foresee several years before we'll have to get her a bigger one. My 2 year old is still a bit small for it, but that doesn't stop her from climbing up on the second chair and watching her sister. Lengthwise, it fits the 2 chairs perfectly (I don't recommend the colored chairs as the paint comes off easily). The width is smaller than I expected and would not fit the full size computer monitor, so we bought an inexpensive flat screen and it fits perfectly. There is plenty of room for the computer keyboard and space to do her 'homework' (she likes feeling like her bigger cousins). It seems very solid and sturdy, and it was easy to put together (did it last minute on Christmas Eve).
I bought the table and chairs or my granddaughter. The table appeared sturdy and was easy to assemble. I especially liked the draw to store things. I also ordered the Avalon chairs. The chairs were a bit too small for the table and seemed mismatched not only in size but styling.
