I purchased this table and chairs for my 2 year old grandson, and I was not disappointed with it. The product is everything the other reviews said it would be and more. It came before Wal-Mart said it would, and it is a solid wood table and chairs that I can sit on as well as my daughter and her husband. It is slightly big for my grandson, but I can see he will have many years of enjoyment out of it. This is really a quality product, I'm so glad I chose this brand!!!
Quality product for being imported. I believe in buying American made, but I just couldn't find good reviews on items that were in my price range. I was very impressed with the sturdiness of the whole set. You won't be disappointed with purchasing this item. I almost bought another set to have in another room or as an extra table for the kids at the dinner table during the holidays. Nice!!
This table is very nice. It is big enough for my 8 year old to sit at and write. We love the storage drawer, it is great to keep paper and supplies in. It was very easy to assemble(my daugter helped put the legs on the chairs), and is very sturdy.
I purchased this honey color set in Nov 2007 to use as a computer desk for my son. Having 2 chairs allows for a friend to sit with him. This set is nice looking, heavy and solid. The size is great too, the kids can grow with it. My son is 5 now, 44-inches tall and weighs approx. 43 pounds and he still fits fine at this set. Best of all... it's compact enough to tuck behind the sectional in our family room. I also purchased the KidKraft Avalon Tall Bookshelf to go along with this set. Although the bookshelf looks nice, it's quality does not mirror this set. My son has his own little office area now, and he no longer takes over Mama's office. ;0] Thanks to Kidkraft and Wal-mart!
After doing many weeks of research looking for the perfect table and chairs, I bought this set. It took my husband and myself about half an hour to put it together. We are extremely pleased with the sturdy structure since we will be having 2 boys soon. Right now my son is 22 months old and is in love with sitting in chairs. So we needed something that wouldn't tip over. I also wanted something that would last more than 2-3 years. As my mother-in-law says, it's more of a piece of furniture than a kiddie table. The recommended age is 5-8 years, but it works wonderfully for us. I would recommend this product if you want something that will last for many years to come.
This table and chair set is of great great quality. It is very sturdy and looks terrific. The size is perfect for my 5 year old with plenty of room to grow.
My wife and I (and more importantly, our daughter) love this product. It was easy to assembly and is very high quality. I highly recommend this product.
The table and chairs came in pieces and was easy to put together. The drawer was broken when I opened the box. I called the company and they will ship a new one. The drawer is not as well made as everything else. It is fiberboard and everything else seems to be solid wood. I am worried the drawer will break again if it gets a lot of use. We will see in a year. I would have ranked it a 5 star if the drawer was the same level of construction as the rest of the pieces.
I got this table for my kindergartener to use to do his homework on. I love the big drawer it has and the quality seems pretty good. There are a couple areas that look like bubbles in the wood, but doesn't seem to affect the overall quality of the product. It is a great table for kids.
