I kind of expected this to be fairly flimsy and not hold much, but I'm pleasantly surprised at how strong the wire basket is. The casters don't roll as smoothly as I'd like, but it's good enough for under bed storage that is only accessed occasionally, for me. I'm using it to hold my old computer, laying on it's side and it's strong enough for that! Putting it together alone was a little tricky since you have to screw each corner together - another set of hands makes it a cinch though. I bought another one, I like it so much!
This is a great product for under the bed storage for shoes or whatever. It is sturdy and very easy to put together. I use it for my 4 year old's shoes and she can pull it out and get what she needs and then put her shoes away all by herself. I put this together in about 10 minutes and so far we are very happy with it and the quality.
I paid $20 for this with free shipping, so I found it to be a good value. It's low enough to fit under almost any bed. It's not rock solid construction, but for the price, it's sturdy enough that I don't see if falling apart short of letting my kids play with it (I think it would bend and distort if a kid decided to sit in it). It does its job- it holds things, it rolls back and forth and it fits under a bed. What more can I want? The only flaw is the lack of a solid bottom that prevents small things from falling through, but I solved that by using some drawer liners to create a non-porous bottom. Works just fine.
Wanted something with wheels to store shoes under my bed. Found similar products that were more expensive and I didn't want to spend a lot on shoe storage. This item served its purpose. The base to put the shoes on is a little wobbly but for the price it's good enough.
Our son uses it every day, he put his shoes on it and rolls it under his bed. Now he knows where his shoes are all the time. We just use a couple of tie straps to keep it secured.
Putting it together should have been easy --- except the holes predrilled for the screws were too small. And the Phillips screws have very small grooves, so hard to get leverage. I had to drill out the holes, which sometimes resulted in holes too big. Fortunately, I had a lot of miscellaneous old screws and found some to fit. (Ended up not using 3 of 8 supplied screws.) And the base/floor just floats on the side panels, which is very unstable. Pulling on a side (which flex easily) can cause the bottom to pop loose. A solution was to tie the bottom panels to the bottom wires of the side panels using nylon ties --- the type that "lock", used on cables and cords. This was a vast improvement -- I could pick it up by a side and not have it fall apart! If I can figure out a way to stabilize the bottom panels for about 10 cents worth of ties, you would think the manufacturer could have come up with the same or better solution.
The product was wobbly and did not fit under my bed as expeted. it also fals apart easily. If you are onl;y putting in light weight items and keep them below the top bar then it works fine. I ended up using them for my shoes so I could slide them underneath my clothes in the closed. They work fine there. I also forced them the opposite way and use tie-wraps to secure the bottom to the frame. This was helpful. I buying better ones for the original purpose. (A little more expensive though.
It is ok easy to assemble. Its smaller than I thought but doable.
Overall, cart is useful. However, a little on the flimsy side with a lot of give and bend on each side and bottom. Cart made out of wire a little thicker than clothes hanger wire. Was hoping for something a little more sturdy, however, you get what you pay for. I'd probably say each should not cost more than 10 bucks. On the plus side, the cart was easy to put together, included rolling casters, and 2 fit side by side underneath the crib. I would say the weight limit of holding power in each would be about 20lbs max spread out. I'm using them for miscellaneous books, toys, and plush animals. Hope this review helps.
Put it together thought it was great only had a few pair of sandles in it. I slipped it under the bed which was a little tight but still worked but upon pulling it back out it hung on something and the whole end broke off where it was put together by the factory this is the only thing that I have purchased that I can remember being unhappy with and I purchase a lot from Wal-Mart
