People raved about using in the 2013 Ford Focus. Extremely hard to find in stores, and appears to be sold out online.
Wish Walmart would keep it in stock online and start stocking the stores with it, I need to order more. This is the best synthetic out there. Walmart, please look at the reviews here and see the great ratings. This product deserves some planogram space.
Have a '14 Mustang GT Premium on it's 3rd change of this oil. First off, I'm getting 28 mpg at 70mph on highway with 420 factory hp. automatic trans. And that's in summer with AC on and golf clubs and boxes in trunk! Second, everyday starting feels like a NEW day. Whatever happened night before is forgotten. 3 I've NEVER heard the lifters. Start car and let computer warm it up. You then can take on the world. Amazing product.
This oil was extremely hard to find. No business in my area carried it, and most places weren't even able to special order it in. Perhaps the lack of availability is an indication of high quality and therefore high demand. I'm not sure, but what I do know is that this oil came highly recommended to me and is highly regarded in online reviews. Pennzoil's website also claims that this oil beats all others when it comes to keeping engines clean. The best part in my opinion is the price. This ultra quality oil costs the same as other top shelf oils, but has better specs. To top it off, Walmart has the convenient 5 quart bottles, and sells them for about half the price other online retailers do. Now if only my local Walmart carried them...
I used Pennzoil Ultra Platinum every oil change from the time I bought my new car. And I already put 135k miles on it and it runs like new as comment also from other people borrowing my car. My concern is that, why the old bottle(black) Ultra Platinum is dexos approved and the new bottle(Yellow) does not have the approval?
This is a great synthetic oil that exceeds Chrysler's specs. I only wish I could buy it at my local Wal-mart instead of ordering it from their warehouse. They stock the Pennzoil Platinum (another good synthetic oil, but not as good as Ultra) so why not stock this product?
I had this oil and sent a sample to oil lab, they told me, it was workinig great .
Pennzoil Ultra is great oil. It really does do what it claims- keeping your engine clean. I don't know why the local Huntsville Walmarts quit carrying it- you can only get Platnum now. At least it can still be ordered at Walmart.com.
If you want to clean a varnished engine you can't go wrong with this oil. Unfortunately my local store no longer carries it so I bought the last two jugs they had.
I purchased it due to it's superme quality, but when I received and opened the package, there was a thin blue tape on the cap and the container. There was no cap seal or anything that indicated that the cap was never opened before. BASICALY I OPENED THE CAP AS THERE WAS NO SEAL ON IT TO ASURE IT HAD NEVER BEEN OPENED BEFORE.
