Just started using this oil have noticed that my engine is running a lot better and I like so far how it has such a positive review we'll be making another review in a few months when I change it and let you know how dark it came out but do notice a change in driving. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 4x4 and it's never ran better. At 93000 miles. Hope this helps any questions please leave me a message.
I'm using this oil in a BMW M car (S54 engine). My last UOA at 10,700k miles not only showed lower than average wear metals but also excellent TBN retention of about 4 and a hot viscosity of over 13. Outstanding performance on an longish change interval!
Hey there fellow Motörhead's I would welcome this resin you are finding in the bottom of the quart. Why you ask, because the resin they add is what your really paying for. Make sure you get all that into the engine for that is what your really paying for. Remember shaken not stirred before you pour.
I have to admit every time I change oil I feel the engine performance get better no matter what brand. So I decided to do a little research on oils. I found the following, Pennzoil Platinum Ultra cleans the engine better than all other popular brands out there. A clean engine will hold new car performance longer and with less wear. I now use it in my fleet of vehicles. Ive had no engine problems and they all get better than EPA estimate on gas mileage. I would recommend this oil and do so to all my friends.
Tried Ultra in 3.8 & couldn't believe how mch quieter, smoother & COOLER. I don't believe in extended oil change intervals. I use ULTRA & chnge it evewry 3000. My engine has clean quality oil.....all the time.
Have a '14 Mustang GT Premium on it's 3rd change of this oil. First off, I'm getting 28 mpg at 70mph on highway with 420 factory hp. automatic trans. And that's in summer with AC on and golf clubs and boxes in trunk! Second, everyday starting feels like a NEW day. Whatever happened night before is forgotten. 3 I've NEVER heard the lifters. Start car and let computer warm it up. You then can take on the world. Amazing product.
I used Pennzoil Ultra Platinum every oil change from the time I bought my new car. And I already put 135k miles on it and it runs like new as comment also from other people borrowing my car. My concern is that, why the old bottle(black) Ultra Platinum is dexos approved and the new bottle(Yellow) does not have the approval?
Now more than ever, Supply and Demand and whatever key product moves fast off the shelves of retail establishments is of primary importance. I noticed for quite some time that the Pennzoil Ultra did not seem to be selling in my local Walmart. Then to my surprise, Walmart decided to discontinue carrying the Pennzoil Full Synthetic motor oil. Well, it's now running in my wife's and daughters vehicles. Unfortunately, the only way I could afford trying this oil was at clearance prices. Walmart dot com had my order waiting for me at their desk! Great Service....just pay on line and pick up at your store! Thanks
This is truly a superior product however its sad that that walmart no longer carries it
I was a Mobil 1 fan for years but then Pennzoil came out with there Platinum line of full synthetics and i made the switch. Then they upped the ante and came out with Ultra. And for the same money as Mobil 1 it blows them away. My UOA's (used oil analysis) have never been better since switching to Ultra. They were already great with the Platinum but even better with the Ultra. Highly reccommended this product to any one looking at using full synthetic oil in there cars. Now if only Walmart would keep carrying the Ultra. Its becoming very hard to find and most Walmart's are no longer carrying it.
