Hey there fellow Motörhead's I would welcome this resin you are finding in the bottom of the quart. Why you ask, because the resin they add is what your really paying for. Make sure you get all that into the engine for that is what your really paying for. Remember shaken not stirred before you pour.
Tried Ultra in 3.8 & couldn't believe how mch quieter, smoother & COOLER. I don't believe in extended oil change intervals. I use ULTRA & chnge it evewry 3000. My engine has clean quality oil.....all the time.
It's an excellent product, I can notice a drastic change in my performance. However, I was a little hesitant in using this. 2016 BMW 320i xDrive requires 0W-20 which is typically used for non-Euro cars. OEM BMW 0W-20 is LL-17 FE certified, however I could not find those certifications on Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0W-20. It would be nice to know if both OEM and Pennzoil are comparable ? However, still an amazing engine oil. I could literally feel the difference in my car.
Have a '14 Mustang GT Premium on it's 3rd change of this oil. First off, I'm getting 28 mpg at 70mph on highway with 420 factory hp. automatic trans. And that's in summer with AC on and golf clubs and boxes in trunk! Second, everyday starting feels like a NEW day. Whatever happened night before is forgotten. 3 I've NEVER heard the lifters. Start car and let computer warm it up. You then can take on the world. Amazing product.
Started using the Ultra Platinum 0w20 in my 2016 Accord Sport over a year ago. Initially I thought it was no different than a previous leading synthetic oil I had been using. After the first oil change using Ultra Platinum, I had some burn off and needed to add a little oil after 3500 miles. Contacted Pennzoil about burn off in my 2.4 direct injected engine and they recommended changing the PCV valve. I changed the PCV valve at 25,000 miles on the odometer, changed the oil again with Ultra Platinum and I have not needed to add any oil between oil changes. I Check the oil at every fill up and it seems to stay exactly on the full mark when hot. I have to be honest here, I haven't experienced this with any other readily available leading synthetic and I was a loyal M1 fan until now. I will stick with the Ultra Platinum, it's good stuff! Also my fuel economy seems to be more consistent compared to other synthetics I've tried in my car over the long run. Really glad I stuck with this oil and started using it at a low mileage. Thanks to the Pennzoil Team for answering my concern and pointing out to change the PCV Valve and look for leaks. Changed my spark plugs too after switching to Ultra Platinum. Had some white looking ash on the ground electrodes and occasional hesitation to start. New plugs, new PCV valve, staying with Ultra Platinum oil and occasional 91 fill up with Shell V power keeps this car running top notch. I'm a believer and a fan of this oil. I won't use anything else. Hope Pennzoil keeps making this oil.
I've tried everything from Mobil1 to QuakerState and even She'll Rotate Gas Truck Full Synthetic in my truck by far Pennzoil's Full Synthetic motor oils have the best resistance to evaporative loss. I own a Mopar product which is notorious for oil consultation especially in the Hemi motors! I will never stop using Pennzoil synthetic in my vehicles!
Hello every one, i am a big fan of Pennzoil from China, and i am so glad to use Pennzoil oil for my Honda Civic 9 Generation(PP020, PUP020), and Xiali, which carry a TOYOTA 8A engine(PP5W-30). The oil is so amazing, smooth, quite, low fuel consumption, cleaning performance.
Engine runs smoother and quieter.Appears to clean up deposits left behind by previous oils.I have cut open oil filters and examined the amount of dirt in them to make these determinations regarding cleanliness,this stuff works. I am responsible for maintaining 4 vehicles in family and currently use this product in all of them.
I used Pennzoil Ultra Platinum every oil change from the time I bought my new car. And I already put 135k miles on it and it runs like new as comment also from other people borrowing my car. My concern is that, why the old bottle(black) Ultra Platinum is dexos approved and the new bottle(Yellow) does not have the approval?
Ordering and picking up items at Walmart has been great with site to store. You have an idea, before you leave home, that you have paid for your items in inventory. Pennzoil Platinum is another great synthetic/synthetic blend oil on the market. I've had very good fuel and mileage calculated rates with this oil. The closeout price at Walmart cannot be beat by any other retailer. I've used Walmart site to store in the past with great results. For the purchase of this Pennzoil Oils, I plan to change all the oil in the household's vehicles once winter has ended. Thank You.
