Works great in Wyoming - our winters can be super cold. We have had 38 below here, this winter.
Some on here have bad information. This is the best anti gel I have ever used . I have talked to Lucas rep at truck show and was told that it is good for doubling up and makes it work better in -30 weather. I drive semi and put a bottle in each side when I fill if it's in the -0 degrees. Second year using this product. No freeze ups . Howes froze up twice. Power service has to be used right to its measurements. If you put to much in your numbers for freeze up go backwards. Can't over concentrate. Doesn't help . Lucas does . The more you put in the better freeze point . And I am a 30 year diesel mechanic and have called and talked to many distributors over the years. Was just in Nebraska at -7 with now problems.
i like ro ise it keeps water in check hope it helps pump also. cheap diesel we het here in rhe USA
Excellent anti gel didn't have any freeze up after using this product. Got down to -10 and -25 wind chill and no problems.
In a deep freeze recently my diesel truck started acting like it was running out of gas after driving about 3 miles. I had nearly a full tank. A little online research taught me diesel fuel can turn into gel at the right temperature. So I found this product and then found it in the Walmart app and keep it added to my fuel now. We haven't had those temps again, but I feel more prepared and I don't expect it to be a problem again.
i use this in my Kenworth with a C-15 Caterpillar engine. im not over the road for the most part any more. i do use it when the temp drops below 32° overnight because my truck is off most nights. i have two 150 gallon tanks. i keep above half full in the winter and treat with a half bottle per full tank if its going to get below 30° like tonight it will be 10° without the wind chill. and i have never had a problem with gelling. i do use a block heater also and when i treat my fuel i make sure its had enough time to run all the way through the fuel system lines and filters.
This bottle is enough to treat 300 gallons of fuel. That's awesome!
Not bad, ordered a different brand but recieved the lucas version. No instructions for passanger size fuel tanks but a little math told me it take about 3 ounces per 15 gallons of diesel. My crd started up easily on cold 0 degree morning so i'd say it works.
Works to prevent diesel gel due to the extreme weather. Bottle does not seal well after opening and could use measurement marks on the bottle
The height adjustment would not work. Cheaply made.
