Very easy to use and worked great!
Tried a couple of cans of this stuff (1 with the gauge and 1 refill) on my wife's 1995 Jaguar XJ6 about two years ago as most or all refrigerant had leaked out over 18 years. After flubbing around for a while, I re-read the instructions and got the filling routine down. Those who've complained about back-spray and wildly fluctuating gauge readings SIMPLY DIDN'T DO IT RIGHT (i.e., engine running, AC dialed down to max. cool at lowest temp, blower on high and wiggling can as directed while filling). Well, it worked beautifully and has cooled perfectly ever since w/o a recharge! I'm about to try this product again on my '96 Mark VIII.
Product works great. Brought the cold back to my 2010 GMC Acadia. I already spent $150 at the A/C repair shop with little to no results. I was almost going back to the A/C guy when the idea popped in my head to try a diy approach. This product delivered big time. They could however make the hose a bit longer though. It's a challenge reaching all the way down where the truck's A/C recharge access is located.
I usually have to add one of these each year. It couldnt be easier. Decide to add some dye as well this year so we could track down the leak and maybe fix it next year.
I had hot air blowing out and really couldn't afford the mechanic's price. I looked up a YouTube video bought this wonderful product and had ice cold air blowing out in minutes. Just in time for the hot weather here in Fl. So happy I found this very affordable alternative to a very expensive visit to the garage. Thank you!
After using another brand stop leak / freon product that only kept the car cool for less than a day, we were reluctant to try another. We bought the EZ Chill with the refrigerant, oil and stop leak all in one and it worked perfectly. We put it in the car just before leaving on a 300 mile road trip. It was ice cold and continues to be still. That was a couple of months ago. This product sealed the leak very well and the ac held the charge.
My a/c obviously was leaking. I couldn't afford to have it fixed or continually have it recharged. I was determined to learn for myself. I purchased this product and read the easy to follow instructions and succeeded! It's been several weeks now and all is well. I would buy this product again.
not bad but, the instruction print was really small.
Just received word from our A/C people that the leak sealer in this product completely stopped all the sensors on our A/C sytem so now nothing works. Facing a high repair bill just because we tried the easy way. Use caution on your vehicle if you aren't sure what you are doing. Please.
My quick-lock connector was defective, which wasted lots of oily product on my driveway under my car and made my hand very slippery trying to hold it on. It simply wouldn't lock onto my low port. My car doesn't need any retro-fit adapters, so the hose with this can is trash. I wouldn't recommend it to even my worst enemy. The hose itself would leak it you twisted it a certain way, and it's just barely long enough to reach my low port...not really long enough to shake and rotate the can while doing it, but then the quick-lock won't stay connected either.
