The product eliminates odors in the AC system of cars very well.
I bought a rental car that smelled of smoke. This helped a little but really just masks the smell. I'm sure it would work well for mildewy smells but not for long term smoking
Works but it has a fairly strong scented smell and takes a good month to reduce to a faint smell. That was with a small tub of baking soda in the cup holder to help out too. I would have preferred a faint smell or non at all so I know the scent is not masking the mold smell vs killing/neutralizing the mold/bacteria.
