Huge help in saving gas. I drive a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 360 Magnum. I've been driving for over 2 weeks on a 3/4 fill-up with a 1/3 tank still to go.
Lucas Products have always impressed. I've used their wax products for years with excellent results, but this was the first time I've used any engine fuel/oil treatment products. I drive a 1997 F150 4.6L with 115,000 miles on it and noticed the lifters (valves?) rattle, especially uphill. Octane boosts helped, but this stuff made the rattling disappear! IT REALLY WORKS! October, 2022
I have used several (less expensive) fuel system cleaners in the past, but I read some reviews on the Lucas Oil Deep Clean system and tried it out. I can really tell the difference. Will buy again.
Keeps my 2013 Toyota Camry running great. Highway Mike hits 35-38mph. Car gets sluggish due to ethanol in gas and this solves the problem.
I've used many other products from Lucas on my car for many years and like those products this deep clean product is awesome too. I still have 2 bottles left out of 4 but I'll get another 4 next week. Highly recommended!
My car is rated 17 city/23 highway, 20 combined. i used this twice two months apart. first time, I traveled to Houston from San Antonio, mpg was 28 stayong with the speed limit. Since then, my average is about 22 mpg. but these results are due to clean cabin and engine filters and following the manufacturer recommendations of oil change frequency. Don't expect to get results if the whole maintenance isn't kept up to date.
I had problems with my car as it looked like it would stop at any moment. i poured this product and never had that issue again. i make sure to add a bottle every 4 k miles, it works great!!!
My BMW kept getting a 12ba code. The code involves the fuel. Ran my fuel down to 1/8th tank twice. Each fill up of ethanol free gas I would add 1 container of fuel cleaner. After that I added one container with each fill up using ethanol gas 10%. My code has disappeared. I will continue to use the fuel cleaner on a periodic basis. I have 225,000 miles on my BMW and it runs great. My mechanic recommended the ethanol free gas to start with, two tank full. Then I could use the 10% ethanol gas. Total fuel cleaners used 5. I've ordered 5 more.
Great stuff
The bottle states it's 16 oz. or 473 ml. In reality, it's 447 ml as weighed on an accurate kitchen scale. Furthermore, there is no measurements on the bottle should you want to spit it. For instance, it treats up to 30 gallons whilst the 5.25 oz bottle treats up to 15 gallons with no loss (or gain) in effectiveness. My tank is 13 gallons so I should split the bottle into thirds. As another reviewer mentioned, you may lose some solution when dumping into the tank.
