I didn't think this gas additive would make a difference with my 20 year old mower or my weed eater grass trimmer. This spring, I mixed up a batch to use with my lawn equipment and WOW- it really made a performance difference. Both engines started with the first pull. The engines idle smoother and have better throttle responses.
I use a bottle of the 104 Octane with each fill up in my 1970 Buick GSX with a hot 455 engine in her... This product really helps, Matilda purrs right along with it in her system...
I don't notice a huge difference using the booster in the car, but even using the ethanol infused 92 octane, I really feel the difference on my Harley. More power, more responsive and anything I can do to fight the ethanol is a plus. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Used just a little of this in my highly modified (built) Harley and this eliminated the pre-detonation (spark knock). Saves me a trip to the marina for the high octane stuff. The number of Proprietary ingredients gives me great confidence in its ability to do what it's says on the bottle. It has a great price as well. I have been using Gold Eagle 104 Octane Boost for a few years now. The first time that I used it I was travelling to a car show in West Virginia. I was towing a trailer and needed all the help that my car could get to climb the mountains. My car had no trouble after adding the 104 Octane Boost and my gas mileage improved also. I used a bottle to see if the reviews that I had read were true or not. I'm pretty skeptical by nature but was pleased with the results. My old 85 Chevy pickup truck ran better than ever. I received this product at no charge in return for an honest review. I used the product in a tank of gas in my truck just prior to towing a 12 foot trailer full of furniture. I use 87 octane unleaded in my high mileage truck and typically get some knocking during acceleration, particularly when towing. I towed the full trailer about 200 miles and never experienced any knocking. In fact, the truck seemed to accelerate stronger and more smoothly with the 104+ Octane Boost added to the tank of gas. Added the booster to a Tank of 86 octane because that is ALL they had on my last road trip in the Vette. Have always used 91 or 93 if I can find it, but I couldn't tell the difference. I will keep a bottle for emergency use from now on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Following the directions I poured the contents of the bottle into the almost empty tank of a 2004 Cayenne. The engine has been a bit rough idling and at speed for about a month and I was counting on the 104 to clean up the system a bit. Drove for about 150 miles and at the end of the trip the idle seemed to smooth out ever so slightly but I didn't really see any added benefits to performance or mileage.
