I use the Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner & Throttle Body & Air - Intake Cleaner on a cold engine and remove the part after I spray twice with time period in between about 15 min. I let it dry for awhile before start the car now it is run smoother. I am happy how easy it was to clean the car parts and saw a visual different any one can do this in 123 step. As a Sparks Reviewer, I have been given the CRC Mass Air Flow and Throttle Body & Air-Intake Cleaner to give you my thoughts and opinion on them. I have a 1999 Ford Taurus that has 182k miles on it. It started running a bit rough and was throwing out some codes regarding the air-flow system. So the CRC Cleaner came in at the perfect time. I took apart the Air duct between the Air Filter and the throttle carefully removed it and used the Mass Air Flow & Throttle Body Cleaner squirted it about 10 times and let it dry thoroughly. Then started using the Throttle Body Air-Intake Cleaner sprayed it down with a lot of the cleaner let it soak in for a bit took a rag and cleaned it till it was completely clean. Put it back together and started it up and trust me it started right away and was sounding good. I took it for a drive and to my amazement, my car ran completely smooth. No issues with stalling or going up the hill or trying to cut out will at a stoplight. I also watched my gas milage before I was getting poor gas mileage and this seems to have done the job. Instead of spending so much money to replace the Mass Airflow. So my opinion on the CRC cleaner is it definitely does exactly as it is intended to do and the overall best thing is IT WORKS. Highly recommend!
I had a check engine light on MAF sensor, used this product to clean it and the code went away and have never come back. Satisfied. Always kept in my car.
CRC mass air flow sensor cleaner and throttle body and air intake cleaner work so well! They come in a 2 pack together. Using it gains instant horsepower and miles per gallon in about 20 minutes or less depending on the vehicle size. It improves the air/fuel ratio greatly. It dries fast and removes harmful dirt and grease. This twin pack is a good buy. It also removes harmful built up deposits as well! We definitely recommend this product for your vehicle!
This is a CRC product used to clean (aerosol style) the Mass Air Flow Sensor and the Throttle Body. There are two separate products because the MAF Sensor has to be a solvent that doesn't harm plastics. Like all CRC products I have used this is excellent. The two-pack approach is great and I was able to clean two cars with it. My cars were not that dirty despite both having over 200k miles. With a really dirty car maybe the pack will only clean one car. What a product! What a deal! Just had to drive to my local Walmart to pick up Great!
This crc mass air flow and throttle body cleaner is awesome and works great. The throttle body cleaner and the masass air flow cleaner does come in a twin pack. It worked great on cleaning both items very well. It does not leave any hard or white residue. It actually dries really quickly. I could really tell the difference in my cars speed and performance once my husband cleaned them. I would highly recommend this product
I've tried other brands over the years but this is my "GO TO" product. And for the DYI, shade tree mechanics, or like me, who do what we can on our own, this 2 pack with the smaller cans is all we need. Both sprays are thorough and fast. No fuss, mess, easy to use.
I have used the CRC product for years in the electrical trade but not the automotive. I did U tube the instructions was easier than reading the fine print as my eye's are getting older. I opted to remove the air sensor for cleaning rather than try cleaning thru the pipeing.I did not see alot of residue on it, but once I got to the throttle body what a different story, it was filfty even with only 89.000 miles on her. I recomend using a tooth brush and a rag to really do a thorugh job. This did a great job cleaning all surfaces of the throttle body, very happy! These small cans also had more than enough to clean the same systems on my truck. Robert C.
I didn't pay attention to the size, it totally looks like the regular size bundle,, Nope it's almost a trial size, put still good size to carry from place to place if needed
I bought this just for the mass airflow sensor in my car to clean it out and it comes with throttle body cleaner as well which is in the pretty nice because it was very nicely priced under $10 for both of them. After using the product my car ran better.
