Sutable for car, garage door , bike use
Cheap grease, good quality. it's easy to get or of the tub and put in a piping bag for my application. Gears run quiet.
Used to add to CV joints, used a needle adapter to slip under the CV boot on the shaft then added a fair amount to prolong the life of the axles CV joints
Bought this grease to pack some CV joints since this was a recommended lubricant type for them and ... Valvoline products are always high quality. Then it was shipped and received in just a few days, which is the kind of service everyone appreciates.
It's synthetic grease should withstand higher temperatures before breaking down. You can tell it's better than the red grease because of 1 its viscosity (it's thick just like conventional green grease. Same smell too) and 2 it's really hard to wash off skin, so clearly better at coating and staying on the part needing grease better than red. The added molybdenum will reduce friction increasing the service life of parts it's applied to. Awesome futuristic grease with the good old smell you know and dislike about having to use grease.
Works great for wheel bearings
This product arrived very quickly and I was both impressed with the price, size, and quality of the product.
Has a weird smell, but if it works great, who cares.

I have trusted name brand American made products for years and this is one of them. I have never used synthetic grease yet, but if it preforms as good as the synthetic oils do it should be a fantastic performer. Time will tell the whole story, but I'm not concerned, as long as I do my part, the service manual states not to mix synthetic grease with other types (mineral or lithium based) and to install new seals if changing grease formulas, so that is what I am doing.
