Fantastic item!! Sheets are thicker that we thought and softer. Comforter thicker than we thought and warm. I have washed this set twice now and it holds up well in the machines. No snags or rips.
I loved this bedding set. I didn't want something to girly (I wanted something my husband would also like). This was perfect. It looks great and it isn't real stiff like alot of bedding and sheet sets I have gotten in the past. For the price this bedding set is wonderful.
I love this set. Great contemporary style. I have owned it for about a year and a half, and have washed the comforter every other week to keep it fresh, due to our pets that sleep with us. It still looks great ! I wanted something that I could use due to the pets and still looks great ...and this is it. I stored my expensive bed set away. GREAT value for the price! A king size set for under $50.00.... unheard of.
My husband and I bought this bedding almost a year ago to go with our new queen sized bed. We didn't go by the example picture. We bought it in the store and granted, the colors are different from the picture, but I still love it! I just wanted a dark colored bedding set that my husband and I both would like. Walmart should think of getting a new pic. The sheets fit very well on our bed and are soft. The comforter is nice and warm and held up very well in our washer, which isn't a super capacity washer by the way. It would be nice if they sold matching drapes.
I purchased this item based on the photo that shows clearly alternating light and dark stripes. What I got was a totally black comforter with thin tan designs that look "printed" on it. Its not a bad looking comforter, in fact its kind of nice. Its just not the colors I expected or wanted. If you are looking for a nearly solid black comforter, then this is for you. If you want what is in the photo, its not. The photo is over-enhanced and the set of sheets nor the comforter match what is shown. However, it appears to be well made and is likely a good set. The sheets are grayish/beige and black print and will only go with a solid or near solid color comforter. They appear well made too.
I've read most of the reviews and a lot of people say this picture on line does appear to have a green tone. I purchased this at the store and it's definitely black, gray and a khaki tan. It's for a wedding gift and I think they will absolutely love it! Just the colors they wanted, - black, gray and tan. I also found some toss pillows that make this a complete set. ( the picture on line does appear to be navy and gray ) I'm thankful it wasn't.
This bedding set in the picture looked very classy in the blue and gray and I was deeply disappointed in the black that actually came. I have just separated my teen-aged sons to separate rooms and let them choose their own decor. I was happy as well as surprised with the choice he made until it came and looks nothing like the picture. I want to return it but my son is too polite and doesn't want to made problems so he says just keep it but I can tell he's disappointed. This was a big thing for him to do and he feels bad about it now.
The price for this bed in a bag set was great. So I ordered this product by the picture presented online. The picture looks blue and gray. However, I read some of the reviews and one person said it was all black and tan. I ordered it anyway because they were the colors I wanted for my sons' bedroom. When I received it, it was nothing what I had expected. The black is a very dull black and the tan throughout the comforter is very, very light and dull. You can barely see the tan color. The online picture does this comforter set justice but when you see it in person it's very disappointing.
I read most of the reviews and did a lot of research on line to find the perfect colors. I should have read ALL the reviews and found the one from July 2007 that had the same problem I did. The description says black and tan and the picuture appears to include blue and gray which is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. I went to the store it listed as being in stock and it wasn't so I ordered online. When it arrived it was NOT what it appeared to be. It looks more brown and green then the picture (which is what was in stock) and I even had a picture on my cell phone to show the associate and they agreed it did not look at all like the picture. I returned it and now back to the drawing board and weeks behind.......
My girlfriend and I purchased this item based on the picture that was provided on the website. When we received it it was not what was pictured. The picture shows something blue and gray and what we received was green. I took it back to the store the next day. Be careful when ordering this item you may not get what's pictured.
