I bought this over a year ago for my then 2 yr old sons bed. It looks great and i have had no problems like some other people have said. I have washed it countless times (he was being potty trained when i bought it) and haven't had any problems with it tearing at seams, etc. The color is even still as bright as when i bought it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something for a young boy. Also, it's not too heavy. My son sweats a lot at night anyways, so this is heavy enough to keep him warm...but not too heavy. I guess the only downside to this is you have to buy the sham seperate, but it's well worth it once u do it, it looks great.
We purchased this for our son a year ago when he got his first "big boy" bed. I've washed it plenty of times (on gentle cycle with woolite) and have not had any problems with it. It still looks new. My son wants a spongebob bed set but I love this so much much i always find a way to convince him out of spongebob!
I am truely excited to have this comforter quilt set in my youngest sons room. It makes his room fun. I wish that they had matching curtains and other accessories to match this particular pattern.
I bought this quilt with the matching sheets for my son's room. We bought the coordinating valances, as well as the football curtain rods. The quilt is very soft and comfortable, and remains new looking even after several washings. I love that the quilt is heavy enough to keep my son warm, but light enough to not be as bulky as a comforter.
THIS ITEM WAS PURCHASED TO BE FOLDED AT THE FOOT OF MY ELDERLY HUSBAND'S BED TO PREVENT THE HEELS OF HIS SHOES FROM CUTTING THE FABRIC OF THE BED SPREAD SINCE HE RESTS FREQUENTLY DURING THE DAY. FOLDING IT INTO THIRDS, MEANS THAT I SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE FOR 6 YEARS BEFORE DISCARDING. THIS AN AVERAGE COST OF APPROXIMATELY $9.00 YEARLY. REPLACING BED SPREAD YEARLY BECAUSE OF HEEL DAMAGE WOULD BE CONSIDERABLY MORE. HUBBY IS A LOVER OF SPORTING EVENTS, SO LOOKING AT THIS QUILT REMINDS HIM OF PLEASANT EVENTS, & TAKES HIS MIND AWAY FROM NEGATIVE HEALTH PROBLEMS.
I used this quilt and some of the accessories to decorate my toddler's room. It's absolutely adorable. I would recommend this product along with the coordinating cute sport balls stickers to decorate the wall.
I bought this quilt for my then three year old son when we bought our new house and figured it was the perfect touch for his "big Boy" room... well I then washed it, because he is three, and then it washed apart. I have had to fix it many times since and am now finally looking online to buy him a new set that looks like I didn't just buy this from a yard sale what a waste of money...
This set was perfect for my son's first big boy room until I washed it. I've had the set for 5 months and have washed it only 3 times (following the directions). It is tearing at the seams and the stuffing is coming out. Not durable enough for a child's room, especially a boy. Overall the appearance was good and price was great but not the quality.
I bought this quilt a couple of months ago. I didn't use it right away because I just found the matching sham. The first time I washed it, according to the directions, it tore at the seems and the stuffing came out. I would not recommend this quilt. I am in the processing of trying to figure out what else I can put on my sons bed.
I bought this for my son's room and when i washed it it fell apart at the seams!!!! I've noticed that this has happened to others as well. be very careful, this product wasn't THAT cheap to tear like that!!!
