This fit the cradle that the great grand dad built. It was of very good material. I usually do not buy things on line, but could not find any in the stores near us. It was a happy find. The size was 18X 36X 1 but is very firm. The people at the store were very nice and helpful. I will look for more things this way. Our great grand-son is due in three weeks.
I had to buy a mattress for my cradle, as the one that came with it was just too thin. I still have 3 weeks til the baby arrives, but so far I am satisfied with the mattress. My only complaint is that i wish cradle pads were thicker and more like mini- mattresses.
The cradle I have has a a very thin mattress and I was looking for something thicker. This mattress is exactly what I was looking for. However I would not of known if it would fit if I did not read previous reviews. A buyer put that it was 18 x 36. That is just what I needed to know in order to make my purchase. Thank you
i have yet to use this mattress as i am not due for another 3 days but i got it to go in the cradle i have and it fits nicely. the only problem i had was finding a fitted sheet for it. what i found was a king size pillow case fits it perfect. and is a little less than a fitted crib sheet that would not fit.
This cradle mattress was just what I needed for a cradle that I had purchased at a yard sale. The only frustration I had with my order was the lack of dimensions in the specifications of this product. I guessed that it was the size I needed from comparing it to other sites. There was no place to choose the size when ordering. I am glad it turned out to be 18" X 36" ... exactly the size of my cradle.
I don't think that the product features has the size listed, but it fits perfectly in my 18x36 cradle. The price is unbeatable, especially since I couldn't find this size mattress ANYWHERE else. Our baby isn't born yet, so other than commenting on the price and size, I can't say much. The only negative thing I have to say so far is the way it was packaged/shipped. I chose site to store, and they put it in a too small box. As a result, they had to fold it in half (it's only a few inches thick and could be folded), but when I opened it, there was a crease in the middle. I was very upset, but after my husband straightened it and put a few books on it, it smoothed out okay enough. Seriously, who would fold it? I wouldn't buy it off the shelf that way.
I love this cradle mattress. It fits great in the cradle we have and I was not able to find one anywhere else. The only draw back is that once the baby has been sleeping in one place for a few months it does being to sage a little but just change the position of the baby from time to time and it will be just fine.
My dad made me a crib for my new baby (standard size) and I couldn't find a mattress anywhere. This seems very comfy for baby, but it is not as thick as a regular crib mattress. Therefor, the fitted sheets that I purchased are too big. Now I use a fleece receiving blanket and wrap it around instead. Good purchase, especially for the price.
I've got an used craddle and I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a mattress for it, since I am not sure if I am going to use it. This pad from Walmart is cheap, it fits great, besides it is waterproof. I bought J. Lamb Set of 2 Cradle Sheets and everything looks great.
We recieved our cradle as a baby shower gift. But the mattress that came with it was so thin and flimsy that I could not imagine it being comfortable for our newborn babygirl. Good thing I saw this mattress pad for our cradle.....not only is it thicker but its made with better quality and the cradle fitted sheets fit perfect.
