This is a wonderful comforter. It is sized well and is fluffy and cozy. I am very happy with this purchase.
This was the first time I've done the site-to-store purchase and I was delighted with it. Easy to do online, easy to pick up at the store. This bedspread set is beautiful and looks for the most part like the photo. Seems to be very nice quality and I liked the 'extras' like the ruffles and lace. Thanks, Wal-mart!
I totally love my comforter set. It looks even more gorgeous on my bed, it really brings out my room and very very compfortable. I am actually looking to buy another one but in a different color.
I love this comforter. It is large and covers the matress completely. It's great to find a comforter set that isn't too small, which, unfortunately, most seem to be. The only thing I would change would be to add zippers to the shams instead of the ties. Even with the ties, it is perfect.
This comforter is lovely. It is not made of cheapo materials. It is quite fluffy and soft. It is also large enough to go over a thick mattress and not show the bottom of the mattress like some others I have had. Mine is definitely a sagey green with off-white lacey pattern. It goes quite nicely with my violet walls. It is rather feminine. The only thing I do not like is the ties on the shams. This is the only place I feel they skimped. The shams are like very short pillowcases with ties at the ends. I hated the ties and removed them. They just didn't go with the comforter that well. Other reviewers were right in that these shams are shorter than a pillowcase. I have several different pillowcases, and these are shorter than all of them, much shorter. Fortunately, my bed faces the door, so you don't see the ends of the pillows, but I still don't like the look. I sew, and I am thinking about what I can do to alter the shams to look better. I may steal a little fabric from the ends of the bedskirt to put extensions on the shams. The bedskirt is quite generously sized, by the way. I haven't washed this yet, and I have a extra large capacity machine, so I am hoping it will work out in that regard. There is a hang tag that says "do not dryclean", so it must be washed. All in all, I am very glad I bought this, and I would purchase it again, knowing what I know about the shams.
I absolutely love this comforter set. It is pretty and frilly and just what I was looking for. I've been having a hard time finding a comforter to cover my new, thicker mattress. This one covers right down to the dust ruffle so you don't see the sheets tucked in at the end of the bed. And I love the color and lace around the edges. It's one of the warmest comforters I've ever bought--even warmer than my expensive down comforter!
I checked numerous websites for a comforter set but none drew my attention more than the Fragrance design offered by Wal-Mart. I checked the inventory online for my local Wal-Mart and they had one "full size" left on the shelf; and I was excited to find it was on sale for only $30!! When I got it home I was very happy with the comforter, the bed skirt and the pillow shams. The product description is extremely accurate; I love the feel of the material (very soft) and the design and colors are perfect for my bedroom...I don't like loud splashy colors and the Fragrance color/design is exactly what I was looking for. . . I highly recommend this comforter set. . .you will NOT be disappointed! And as usual, I found an exceptional bargain and a top quality product at Wal-Mart. It's my favorite place to shop!!
Ok, before I review this product, It might help to know that I was lucky enough to find a KING size set at a local Wal-Mart marked down to $30! So needless to say, I really don't have any complaints! I'm not sure about oversized, the comforter fit my bed just fine! The floral pattern is a little cheap, and it's almost a little too girly even for my taste, but the softness of the comforter makes up for any MINOR complaints I might have had. We were complaining that our mattress just wasn't feeling right these days- but after we got the comforter, it strangely seemed to make sleeping in our bed muuuch easier.
I love everything about this set, however, the description did not inform that this is an OVERSIZED comforter, which is unable to be washed in even my "large capacity" washer. When I first got it in the washer, the agitator was not working, therefore, I had to soak it for 1/2 hr, while pushing it down into the washer to absorb the water. Luckily, the spin took all the water out of it. Then I had to refill it once again with fabric softener, do some more pushing, let it soak, and spun it yet again. It was so heavy getting it out of the washer. I put it in the dryer, but yet again, had to keep babying it and taking it out while turning it. I got fed up and just hung it on my wooden doll rod clothes hangers to dry overnight. Now I have to take it to the laundromat, which totally stinks, not only a waste of time, but putting your bedding in with other peoples dirt grosses me out. It is very warm and makes your bed very comfy and it really is beautiful and makes my bedroom look as I always wanted it to.
I had read all of these great reviews for this product, but personally I was a little disappointed. First of all, I thought that the product was an ivory color- well, its actually green, so it didn't match my room. Furthermore, the design was a little ugly in my opinion. It didn't give off the soft look and elegance of the picture. I would still recommend it- if you are looking for frills and green.
