bought this product a few weeks ago read the reviews and i would have to def. agree. after you wash it it becomes a little softer and the feel of the sheets are nice. i am glad i purchased this set and i think i would have to stick with this brand for now on. its the next best thing since sliced bread :)
We received these sheets for a wedding gift. They are absolutely wonderful. I have since purchased 2 more sets, so I could have this kind of sheet on the bed every day, and I have puchased a set for 2 other newlyweds. The sheets are soft, thick and snuggly. Even after washed they still maintained the wonderful feel & look.
Wash after wash these sheets become softer and smoother. I am now spoiled and a thred count snob. It's a little more money, but look at how much time you spend in bed (6 to 8 hours every day). This is a luxury that is well worth it and, afterall, we need a little pampering to get though the rest of the day.
I initially purchased just the pillow cases for this set and immediately loved the quality and softness of the Egyptian Cotton. It didn't take me long to realize that I needed to have the entire sheet set to match. The quality of these sheets and the softness can not be found anywhere else at a comparable price, and believe me, I tried. The closest matches from Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, and Kohl's, came in at well over $100 for the set for almost the exact same quality. So, for the money, you can not beat this set!
I am so excited to find a sheet set that fits my bed. Not only is it California King, but it is pillow top as well. So, it is super thick. These sheets fit all the way to the bottom of the mattress. I've only washed them once and they are already soft, but I imagine the more I wash the softer they will become.
I love my new sheet set. I had a hard time finding them to fit my king size mattress which is very thick. This set actually fit VERY good. They are so soft and comfortable. I will be ordering more. I am really glad I found them. You won't be sorry if you pick a set up.
These sheets are a wonderful value. I love the way they feel. I do agree with other reviewers though... they are very wrinkly the first time through the washer and dryer. But what I did on the second wash was to dry them on medium heat instead of high, and I took them out before the cool down cycle started. I also did have trouble with the color. I expected to get a beige/tan color and I got like a golden rod. But whatever... $60 bucks for cal-king sheets is fabulous!
These sheets look nice even after washing, but they are far from the softness I've come to expect from 400 thread count sheets. They aren't as bad as the 200 thread count, but they certainly aren't as soft as the sheets I usually get elsewhere. One nice thing about these sheets is that they fit my deep mattress perfectly, and I don't have to keep tugging at the corners to keep them from popping up.
In Walmart store I bought a grey sheet set I love. I dont live near a Walmart and tried to buy more on line. This is not what I bought in the store. Same damask stripe, egyptian cotton, high thread count and price but my grey ones have a little "body" and when washed fold nicely with little wrinkles. These come out of the dryer one big mass of wrinkles, even after folding the wrinkles are still there. They are very soft and flimsy. I gave them away, very disappointed. Will have to wait until I can get to a store I guess...
I'm extremely disappointed in these sheets. I took them out of the dryer as soon as they were dry; they were horribly wrinkled and look just terrible. I used the delicate temp to avoid wrinkles, too. I will probably give them away. They definitely won't be going on my bed, again.
