This Comforter was a GREAT BUY!!!! The only thing is that it does run small so get a size LARGER than normally...to my advantage I read reviews before ordering and read that myself. I have a queen size bed but I ordered the king, and the king fit perfect!!! The Comforter is beautiful and adds a luxury to your bedroom. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
My comforter came site to store in 3 days. Yay! I read all the reviews and I'm glad it's as nice as I expected. Some of the reviewers were saying the comforter is not big enough, but I bought king size for my king size bed and it fits just like it's should.
I read the previous reviews on the product, which were mostly negative, however, I decided to take the chance. This makes a total of 3 of these comforters I've purchased. Most reviews stated that the comforter was too thin. When I got mine, I decided to run through the dryer on the air cycle. Worked like a charm to thicken the ply of the comforter. When the comforter is removed from the shipping crate, sure, it's compressed. The dryer took care of that. Keeps me more than warm!!
I was a little leary about this duvet because it was so much cheaper than anything I found in stores. After reading the reviews I took my chance and order it online. When it came in the mail it was in a small package and my first thought was that it wasn't very "fluffy" and I should have ordered something more expensive. However when I took it out of the package and gave it a good "fluff" in the air. It fluffed right up! It was just as good as my queen size alternative down comforter I had purchased for almost 4 times the price. I am VERY pleased with the quality. I bought two of these. One for each of my kids and I love them. I couldn't be happier with the quality and price. Definately give these a shot!
When I first recieved the package in the mail I was kind of concerned because the comforter did not look very thick in the packaging. But once I opened it up I was amazed. This comforter is so thick that when my room mates set the temp down to 65 I still get hot underneith it (and I am a very cold person. I like the temp set at 73). It is a great buy for your money. It seems like great quatlity that will probably last at least the next 3 years of my college life!
I was quite surprised when I received these comforters. I am picky when it comes to bedding, and I can honestly attest that these are just like expensive, high-end designer brands. In fact, they are even nicer than high-end ones I have owned in the past, and more luxurious than most I have seen in department stores. They are thick and have loft. Very wam. The filling does not shift. I bought the twin size, and it fits just right. Full size would have been too big. The cover is very soft. In fact, my intent is to put the comforters into duvet covers to protect them, but they are so nice, I hesitate to cover them up.
Ok, let me start off by saying in my own opinion, I absolutely love this comforter. Though, its not as fluffy as I would like it to be.. for the price I am NOT gonna complain. I absolutely love the look and feel to it. When I picked it up I thought it was going to be extremely flat by looking at the packaging it was in, but once I took it out (wrinkly) I gave it a few shakes, placed it on the bed and WA-LA it was fluffy! THEN over the past few nights it went a little flat again BUT hey thats alright 'cause I've honestly never gotten a better sleep from a comforter! Its just about as comfortable as the $300 ones. So if you're looking for a GREAT comforter at a GREAT price, I definitely recommend this one to you! I can't wait til the Arctic white Egyptian cotton sheets and Red plum (2) pillow cases come in so I can have that chic bedding look I've always wanted! I'm posting a photo along with this review, just so you can more likely see how it looks on a FULL-sized bed.
Works perfectly for my needs. Has just the right amount of puffiness for Oklahoma!
I bought this comforter a little scared it wouldn't meet my expectations, but after reading a lot of positive reviews about it, I decided to give it a shot. It is very great to sleep under! It's comfortable and keeps me at the right temperature. It's a little wrinkly, but people jump on my bed all the time so it's not like they're making it look less straight which is good. I've included a picture of it.
I was pretty impressed with this comforter when I first opened the bag. It felt good and had windows so the stuffing won't spread out which is great. I was happy...and then I decided I needed to wash it before putting it on the bed. MISTAKE! It says on the tag it's safe to machine wash as long as it can move freely in the washer. Ok, great. I have an extra large capacity washer so that shouldn't be a problem with a full size comforter. I've been washing them for years. WRONG! The windows hold soap and water and fill up like little bladders and won't the let water drain out! I took the comforter out of the washer and it was so heavy with trapped water that I couldn't lift it to carry it. I put it in a trash bag and dragged it outside and with my husband's help, threw it over a rack to drain and dry. We squeezed water out as much as we could but soap was still all over the thing and was trapped inside so we got the garden hose and rinsed it down for what seemed like hours, wringing the excess water out every time. We finally got the soapy feeling off of it and all the water out of the windows. We left it outside to dry for two days and it still wasn't completely dry, but it was good enough for me to put it in my dryer. I finally got it on the bed and it feels pretty good. It's for our guest bed so it's not like it will get used much anyway, but all in all, it's a good comforter, just don't wash it!
