Needed something for the extra bedroom since my sister-in-law was coming to visit. I don't have a permanent bed in that room, I use a blow up Full Size mattress. I ordered the Full/Queen size and it was definitely big enough! I have no doubt it will actually fit my queen bed after she leaves!! Its perfect for summer, and yes it is lightweight for those who are considering this. If you are wanting something more luxurious or "cloud-like" this is not what you're looking for. It measures 86x90 so it will fit perfectly in a duvet -just watch your measurements! I am not too picky since this was a last minute purchase. Oh -and I chose free shipping to the house and got it in 4 days! That is a deal because I spent $23+ on Rollback
This product is even better than it's description. I'd never considered down or alternative down until I recently stayed at a hotel and this is the type of comforter that they had. I loved their comforter so much that I got in touch with them and found out that I could buy their exact bedding from their manufacturer for around $300. Yikes! So I decided to see if I could find the same type of comforter somewhere else. For some reason the picture of this comforter online makes it look VERY thick, but it is not, and that was what I was looking for, something not too thick. I think that I got exactly what the hotel was using! This is not only beautiful, but also extremely soft and keeps me almost too warm! I don't have it in a duvet and use it on top of my flat sheet, but like I said, now that it's summertime it's almost too warm, so I have to end up folding it down and just using my flat sheet for coverage at night. I plan on purchasing one for my guest room too. This has also inspired me to redecorate my entire bed ensemble, and my room is looking amazing! Thanks Walmart!
I live in a basement apartment in Colorado and last night it was below 20 degrees. This comforter kept me warm!! It is soft, lightweight, but SO warm and cozy. I absolutely love it. The value is unbeatable!!
Had this for a year now and I'm very happy about the quality. I think it's similar to the hollowfibre duvet sold at Marks and Spencer. The full/queen size is just right for the queen duvet covers I bought from Target. The quilting keeps the filling in place and it's easy to wash in a toploader. The cloth is soft and smooth and the stitching isn't shabby at all. I bought this hoping it would be light enough for spring but we used it for winter instead (comfortably toasty). I'll have to keep looking for a 4.5 tog.
I just recieved this today, for the price $30 it is an exceptionly good item. it is not overly thick which is what I was looking for. I folded it length wise and put it across the foot of my bed as a accent and a little extra warmth for my feet. The twin size is perfect on a full size bed. I couldn't find any flaws in the workmenship. This will be used every day and from what I can tell with proper care and use will last a long time.
Wanted to find a DC that would keep me comfy at night I'm a weird sleeper I could be hot one second cold the next with this DC it gives me the super cool feeling when its hot and still keeps me super warm whenever my husband puts the AC super low.. he never used to steal my covers until now .. even though I purchased the queen size i would keep it all to myself .. I'm sharing for now but I will probably just end up buying him one !
I am so pleased with this comforter. The look and feel is perfect. For such a low price the value is high end. I love it.
I wanted something white to help offset the walls in my bedroom which I painted an aqua mist color. Finding a white comforter was harder and more expensive than I thought it would be. Getting this in a king size for less than thirty bucks was awesome! I waited to review it until I had washed it because I wanted to see how it held up and it did pretty well. It is a little wrinkled, but my dryer might be a little small for it. It also seems to have shrunk a tiny bit, but that might also be because it seems to have fluffed up a bit. I haven't had a lot of problems with the filling coming out. Just a little here and there but nothing that would make me give this cover up. I think it will be great in the winter even though it is thinner which is good because I didn't want anything too thick. This is perfect to wrap yourself up in without a lot of bulk getting in the way.
The quality of the comforter was wonderful. However, I ordered the king size for a duvet cover and it was about nine inches too short! So check your measurements!
The reason I'm only giving this comforter three stars is because it was not properly identified as lightweight in the online ad copy. For the price, what did I expect, right? Overall, this comforter is a really good buy. Even the Wal-Mart associate at the Site to Store desk was dumbfounded by the price! Just know before you buy that it's very thin and lightweight. If you're looking for that thick, fluffy, duvet look and feel, this ain't it. I expected a thicker comforter with a more tufted, pronounced duvet look, judging by the picture. This one will work well in warmer weather or on a guest bed or for use by family members with allergies. For our bed, well, I prefer to stick with a "real" duvet--the big, warm kind you can stuff into a duvet cover, throw over a fitted sheet and call it good.
