I was so pleased with the quality, value and appearance of this bedspread. We needed a lightweight bedspread for the summer season as the comforter we have is way too heavy now. I was pleased with the color, the pattern and quality of the material. It looks great on the bed!
I have 7 dogs & 4 cats so I cover my sofa, but can never find the perfect slip cover - weight, backing, price etc. This light weight King will fit easily in my washer & still provide adeguate cover to my sofa. It is attractive & the pattern is very subtle. it does not have that awful acetate backing that some slip covers have so it is very easy to arrange. My husband also likes very lite weight spreads on the bed so I will also be ordering this for the bedroom. The price also makes this an excellent value.
The color is beautiful, and the fabric is light weight enough for summer, but also a comfortable weight using an electric blanket for fall and winter. I highly recommend it and the shams as well
This bedspread is exactly what I had been looking for. It is attractive, neat and easy to use. The relatively light weight makes it easy to fold at the foot of the bed at night and spread it up quickly next morning. It makes a good impression even without shams. And it's perfect for anyone like me who makes beds alone. I recommend it as a practical solution for a busy person.
This makes for a very nice summer spread. It is light weight and very comfortable. Soft and pleasant feel to it. It reminds me of the spread my grandmother had, but it is not heavy.
This beautiful bedspread is just exactly what I hoped it would be. Light weight, fits nicely in my washer & dryer, and covers my extra thick king size matress. It's perfect for our hot south Texas summers. It's so elegant that it looks like I paid a lot more for it. I have already told 2 friends about it and they have ordered 2 each. They are just as pleased as I am. Hooray for Wal-Mart! I only wish that there were king size shams available.
I just got it and put it on my bed in my 5th wheel and it looks and fits great. The color (sage) is a light green and will go with about anything. I'm not sure how it will wash, but it should do okay. I love the lightness because it will work for summer or winter. Our mattress is a regular queen(not short) and very thick, so there is still enough room on the sides to hang down nice and long enough to cover the pillows. The dog will be on it and I don't think his nails will be a problem, have to see later. I will probably order another one in the future, but all in all it's a good quality for the price. Well satisfied. If and when all the above things are checked out, if there is a problem, I'll write another review.
Our set is very pretty in sage. The material is a good thickness and quality for this coverlet, and wider and longer than I have ever seen being sold for king beds. I threw it in the washing machine on the gentle cycle [cold wash with Dreft detergent;dried it on gentle also; a separate cycle for the shams (wash & dry)] touched them up with a warm iron and it is simple but elegant. We also have an ivory down comforter that I fold at the base of the bed and ivory accent pillows. The coverlet fits to way past the bottom of our very thick king mattress. So glad our sheets no longer show! It is a bit too long tho; wish they used that material to make it a bit wider so it was longer on the sides and came down to the floor like at the base of the bed [it comes to approx. half way down our dust ruffle which is still great; have to tuck quite a bit in behind the pillows; will be cutting some off and using it to make bolster pillows]. You can't beat the price! Another minor con is that the stitching was done a little carelessly on some of the shams [I ordered 6 for a King bed but really only need 4; will keep the extra 2 seeing the shams will probably get worn faster being washed more often cause we use them to prop for reading or watching TV. The border around the edges wasn't stitched neatly at the same width all around on some of the shams, but could be easily fixed if you sew. It's a bit time consuming to iron the shams because you have to pull out the edges to the stitching, because they curl inward, but it is worth it to take your time to do this and to press all the folds out of the entire set. Enjoy!
This bedspread is a great deal for the money. It looks great on the bed, but is a little lightweight. Since I only wanted something for the summer months, it works out just fine.
Very nice bedspread but didn't like the quality of the material. Looked like it would easily snag. I returned it immediately.
