I love this quilt. This is the first quilt that I have bought so I had reservations on warmth and quality. I was surprised. The quality is great, size (king) is perfect. I absolutely LOVE this set. Would recommend to everyone. Color pattern is an added bonus.
The set is awesome. The comforter is soft not ruff like so many others,. The sheets do not feel like cardboard. The whole set is really nice, the only drawback is the pillow cases that came with the set are King size not regular size. But I'll make it work. Very good value for the money. I was impressed.
The colors in this "quilt" are more than I expected. They match my wall colors perfectly (avocado and one wall rust). It is heavy. I have a queen bed and the king does not cover the bottom of the box spring so the bed skirt has to be used. You do not have to tuck the king size in on the sides if using on a queen bed. I cannot imagine buying a queen size for a queen bed, and the king is cheaper to buy than the queen. Don't understand that. Overall, it's a great buy but I recommend buying a size larger than needed. The quilt set is more colorful than the picture. It's gorgeous! Not too heavy so it can be used year 'round. The sheets are a little deep for my mattress but when tucked underneath they stayed put. I saw the exact same "Katy" style set at another merchant's but it didn't include the sheets and it was more money! It pays to check around.
The quilt is very nice and heavy. I like the shams and toss pillows. There was no information given about the sheets, and they wrinkle terribly. I will not use the sheets, pillow cases, or the bed skirt, so this decreases the value for me. I am pleased with the colors and quality of the quilt.
This ensemble was exactly what I was looking for. We just purchased a new King size bed and needed a covering. With our multi shade blue carpet on the floor and tan walls and curtains, I was having trouble finding the right item. This quilt has the different shades of blue that compliment our carpet and has the green tones that look great with a painting on our wall. The red and orange are a great accent color. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the bed skirt. Being 100 % cotton, after washing it, I did have to iron out the wrinkles and reinforce the pleats. The quilt is a little short on the sides. I would have liked it to be a little wider so it would completely cover the mattress and cover a little of the top of the box spring. For now, I just leave it a little longer on the first side that you see when entering the bedroom. Overall, this is an awesome set. I would recommend this product. Thank you WalMart.
I had seen a product very similar to this while in New Hampshire this summer and didn't pick it up and kicked myself for not. When I seen this 10 piece set on for this price I was ecstatic. My mother-in-law picked it up for me for a Christmas present and I had it on my bed before then. The colours are bright, but warm and they go so perfectly in my bedroom it is insane. The only think that I wasn't happy with was that it doesn't go all the way down to the bedskirt on both sides, like it shows in the photo. It must be a bigger size on a smaller bed for it to fit like in the picture above. I have a king size bed so couldn't get it any bigger. Overall I made it work, by adding another similar coloured blanket underneath and it is fine. I absolutely love the quality of the quilt and the decorative pillows also have covers that come off so you can throw them in the washer. Love this set for the look and the price!!
Very nice quilt set and very pretty. Wish it were wider so it would come down on the sides just a little farther. The colors are very bright and vibrant. The sheet set is on the large size for a full bed and are rough and do wrinkle quite a bit when washed.
I saw this same set on tons of websites and all for a lot more than what Walmart was charging. I definitely feel I got a good value for the look and quality of the set. There were a few small openings where the sewing machine aparently missed the fabric but that could just be the comforter I received. Otherwise, everything was beautiful and well made.
The quilt and sham were quite nice, but the sheets and bed skirt were very chintzy and did not match well. I would recommend buying your quilt and sham(s) separately from this quilt set. I sent it back and will look for a similar quilt/sham elsewhere.
