I've wanted to try a contour pillow for a long time, but the price has been prohibitive. The price of this one assured me that even if I didn't like it, I wouldn't be out a lot of money. But, it is so comfortable! The high end goes under my neck. I lay on one side or the other, and it supports me through the night. I love it so much I packed it in my suitcase and took it to Savannah with me. You won't go wrong with this pillow!
I recently purchased Mainstays Memory Foam Standard Contour Pillow. The first few days and month you will feel uncomfortable because your neck is getting used to it, but do not..do not give up or put it to the side, continue using the pillow is normal. It's gonna take time to adjust.
So far so good! It has been a week sleeping on this pillow and I am beyond happy. It is so comfortable! I truly was skeptical because the price is so good! So I thought what's the catch? Nope! Great pillow for a bargain! I have not had any tension headaches while sleeping with this baby. That was the main reason for my purchase. I suffer from tension headaches at night with a regular pillow and occasionally I get migraines. The contour this pillow provides for my head and neck is amazingly comfortable and just what I needed.
This pillow is extremely comfortable. I mean extremely. I bought it because I needed a neck support with some neck and nerve issues and this was helpful. It had a slight odor to it upon arrival, as described in the disclaimer documentation, but quickly I don't notice it. It arrived on time and was well packed. The comfort level of this pillow is off the charts!
Very good soft but firm material. Just let it air out for 3 days after removing from bag as indicated. Good for back and side sleepers. Not so sure about stomach sleepers
I'm a smallish adult female (5'5" and 115 lbs. with an average-sized head and smallish neck, I think). This pillow doesn't fit my needs. I have 3 things to point out: 1. Negative: The neck support (the larger bump) is too tall. It fits a longer neck than mine (and I don't have a short neck for my size). Maybe for a man it would be better. (I wondered if the pillow was too high, so I cut about an inch off the entire bottom of the pillow. Same problem. I didn't dare to cut down the size of the bump.) 2. Positive: The firmness is pretty good. Not too hard, not too soft. Definitely not as soft as regular pillows, but when one looks for a contour pillow, it needs to support. So this one is good in that way, I think. (Can't tell for sure since I couldn't stand to use it for more than a few minutes.) 3. Neutral: It is quite narrow, even more narrow than a standard pillow. That also doesn't bother me. You don't really need more width and I thought the small size would be nice for travel.
Just like the title says, this pillow is hard as a rock, it is too small to fit a queen sham or pillowcase. I have a small gap between my headboard and bed due to the headboard tilt design so I'm just going to set this pillow in the gap to prevent my other pillows from falling in between. Last I do not recommend, I've had great memory foam pillows and this definitely isn't one of them. The picture is the pillow on top of a regular queen sized pillow.
I bought another foam pillow brand at Walmart which is the only pillow I do not have neck pain with. I mistakenly ordered this. It is smaller and has no "squish" to it. It seems like a firm, foam block rather than something I sink into a little, which is what I like.
I read the positive reviews about this pillow .then i decided to give it a try. I used to sleep on a regular memory foam pillow, but i needed somthing to support me neak and sholder when i sleep on my side. This pillow was too hard it made me feel like my head is so heavey . i am not sure how to describe it but i can say that it pressed on my neak too much that made me feel the blood was stuck in my head. I had it for 3 days then returnd it to store.
it's so small. like 6" smaller than a standard pillow. this is a picture of the pillow on top a standard size pillow case.
