this is perfect for what i needed! i have stenosis and have to sleep with that part of my spine straight and this pillow fits perfectly under my head/neck! it's not too squishy either, like the last one i had, so it conforms without squishing out of shape or flat! the memory foam stinks though! but you can take the pillow case off and wash it...
This a great little pillow for people who sleep on their sides. my doctor recommended i get one of these. helps my neck and that helps me from getting headaches during the day. only day point is that this one is smaller than the one i had gotten before.
The day I tried my contour pillow for the first time, my neck had been stiff all day. After one night sleeping on the contour, my neck loosened back up to the shape it was supposed to be in. My chiropractor believes in these pillows so much, he told me to buy two in order to have one when I travel, and I think buying one is worth the effort!
The pillow has a high and low rise on either end and it adjusts to the contour of your neck for better sleep. I also don't suffocate from my head sinking into the pillow - on the contrary, it's soft yet firm enough to keep my nose away from the pillow. HOWEVER, it came out of the box smelling horrible! I cleaned it 3x before the smell came off.
The first couple of mornings I woke up with a slight stiff neck but now Im sleeping better then I have in a long time. At first it seemed a little too firm but now it seems to know my head and I sink in just right and it cradles my head better then any other pillow.
It's okay it smells like foam and the neck part I wish was a little higher, but I have only slept on it one night. But it does smell like foam does so I will have to let it air out for a while or just cover it completely. I would have taken a picture of it, but the option is not available again. I don't know why Walmart.Com Keeps taking that feature off and on.
I assumed too much with this pillow and should have read the specs and reviews first. This would probably be a great pillow for a child or youth. Not much real estate for an adult. Also, I have to temper my thoughts because this is my first memory foam pillow. The problem I have is it almost flattens out after laying on it for a moment. I will likely return it or give it to my youngest son.
Sppecific? This pillow is not even standard size, and lays flatter than others. What a letdown. Truthful? It's not as responsive as better contour pillows. Insightful? State on the ad boldly that this is not even a standard size pillow but should be listed as a possible small lady's pillow or one for young children, not toddlers. Considerate? I'm considerate of other consumers. Don't buy this pillow. Especially men. It's not ideal. It's almost a toy. Go find one that you can hold and feel it, one you know is a real pillow.
I previously had a pillow like this one, and when it was time to replace it, I purchased this pillow. The comfort is fine, but the size of the pillow is not much bigger than a travel pillow. WAY TOO SMALL!!!
It does not matter that it was $10.00. I have 2 others and one is FANTASTIC the other is not so good, but this one is the WORST. It has NO density and takes forever for it to spring back into shape.
