I'm very pleased with this blanket. From the product picture you cannot tell, but it is a very soft fleece material, and the giraffe is embroidered.
My husband really wanted this blanket to go with the bedding we purchased for our son (due in May), and I am so glad because it is the softest of all of the blankets I've purchased so far, and it's light enough for the cool fall air, and with thicker jammies, for the winter as well.
