This blanket will change the way you sleep. Not only is it beautiful, it is so lightweight, your mind and body will have trouble beliving you are warm. I sleep with my room about 55 degrees in the nights, so I always like to be toasty in bed. I can be toasty, and feel like I barely have a blanket on with this. But like I said, it is kinda weird being so warm with not a whole lot of weight feeling on you. Oh, and the size of this King blanket is HUGE.
I originally purchased this blanket in the blue color. I loved it so much I now purchased one in the sage color. The blanket is very attractive, lightweight, yet keeps you very warm. It is pretty enough to use as a bedspread/comforter. I have to say this is the best blanket I've owned and I've tried all different kinds of blankets over the years.
The blanket is perfect for Florida because it is a bit thinner and less bulky than others I've seen. It is soft and silky and the sage color is nice. It is a great blanket for the price. I have another down alternative blanket that is just too hot for north Florida weather, so this one is the one I will end up using.
Just rec'vd my blanket and it's sooooo nice...the color looks a little darker then what it is but that's no big deal bec. it matches my one sheet set nicely!! I bought the King size for my Queen size bed..also bec. my husband is a blanket hog..LOL. And, I'm using it as a bedspread it's so pretty..thinking of ordering another for the twin bed we have once we get our tax money!!
I purchased this blanket for my ailing mother who goes from hot to cold in no time and hates having anything heavy on her legs. This blanket is amazingly warm, but not to warm, and is very light weight. Can not beat the price for it. Washes very well. Did not try it in dryer yet, but dries outside in no time at all. I am going to purchase one for myself as well.
Rich looking blanket; I added a quilt over the top for our cold below-zero nights in Illinois because we turn our thermostat down to 60 degrees; it gets mighty cold in our house. I have had real down before and found them too hot for me and this is just right. I don't feel suffocating under it. Thanks WalMart for a great product at a great price. Will buy them for gifts for my two daughters next Christmas.
I was looking for a down alternative blanket, I tried this because the price was reasonable. I bought one blanket, we liked it so much that we bought 2 more for gifts and one more for ourselves. The blankets are very warm and yet lightweight.
I bought this blanket because I needed a summer blanket that was not as heavy & warm on the body as a down comforter. This blanket is light weight and soft, and looks great on the bed. The added satin on the edges give it that extra good look! If you need a lightweight blanket @ a great price, look no further.
This is a warm blanket that looks good. It's quilted construction and finished edges look great. It's satin type material makes it easy to make up the bed in the morning. I suspect it might not hold up too well on a child's bed with kids jumping up and down on it. But then again....what would?
It is light weight and a simple design in one of my favorite colors. The fabric tends to hold and show my pets hair on it, but otherwise so far is wearing well, especially for the price. I do like that the size is large for a queen and so far are no fights for the covers! :)
