I have a very old but much loved Geo Metro convertible called Doris, hot in summer, slightly incontinent in winter (well she's old and leaks) but so much fun to drive. When I initially unrolled it I must admit that I had my doubts, I thought that the fabric looked flimsy...now I think that he pop top is wonderful, easy to install, keeps the heat out (even in CA) when I leave the top down during the day and keeps light rain out when I don't. I wish that I'd been able to find it in size 1 and not the 2 that I bought (only size available) but it's cheap, lightweight, comes with it's own integral bag for storage and I'd recommend it to anyone.
We've now purchased three of these, one for our Mercedes 450 Turbo Diesel, one for our 450SLC antique Mercedes, and one as a gift for a friend who owns a Mazda Miata convertible with black interior. In the blazing hot South Florida sun, which turns car interiors to ovens and cracks dashboards in the blink of an eye, this well made product is the most practical thing we've seen offered since sliced bread. Easy to slip on and off, our cars remain covered and cool in the office parking lot and in the driveway at home. They also keep leaves and seeds out of hood grills. Great idea, along with a low price. Pretty hard to beat. We are VERY PLEASED.
This product not only keeps out the sun and it's harmful rays from the upholstery, it lowers the interior temp. of the car significantly.
fitsw good, it's easys to put on and take off. Really keeps the inside of the car alot cooler, really says alot in the texas heat.
