Bought for a ski trip that included a ten hour drive. Worked perfectly, easy to install, everything fit well...well worth the price. No complaints!
I was able to fit 3 pr skis and 6 poles. Mounted to the existing luggage rack on SUV. Simple, cheaper than others.
I bought this because I was tired of having a snowy car after a long day of snowboarding. It does the trick. Only negative is the locking mechanism can be a bit tricky with a glove on. My suggestion a rubber end on the key for a better grip.
Does the job of transporting but it is too hard to open and close.
Before mounting the rack to the top of my vehicle I wanted to get a good idea as to how the locking mechanism and latch worked. After struggling to open the latch for a literal 15 minutes and one very large headache I decided it was best for this product to be returned to Walmart. Price is great, quality of the components were surprisingly good. However, I would not recommend this product to anyone unless the latch was improved.
