The futon looks just like the photo. Its very sturdy, and i've had several people sleep on it who find it fairly comfortable for a night or two. It shipped very quickly. The instructions are a bit hard to follow, so it took a while to put it together, but I was able to get it done without using an extra pair of hands. Overall, I'm pleased with it. I wish it could have been shipped to the Walmart store, however, instead of paying for it to be shipped to my door. I would recommend to anyone looking for a futon that's going to hold up for a while.
I searched around for a relatively cheap and decent futon as I will have to move a lot. I didn't want one that looked too cheap, but I couldn't afford to spend a fortune. I came across this futon. I ordered it and received it within 2 weeks. It was easy to assemble as well. The only thing is occasionally it is tough to put back up in the couch position, but in my experience, that is any futon. The white metal rails makes it blend in with the included mattress, and is elegant for the price. The mattress itself is comfortable and has not caused any of it's users back pain. It can also handle a 3 year old pouncing on it. I'm glad I got it and would recommend it to others.
