The dresser is beautiful and functional. It works perfectly in my 3yr old's bedroom. All of the drawers are easy for her to open and see into. This is an EXCELLENT value for the money (if in doubt - check out how much the south shore company charges on their website for this same dresser). It was well packed and my husband had it together in about 1.5 hours.
I just love it.....only my husband was kind of upset...he spend some quality time to assemble it:)...but we really like it.
I purchased this dresser along with the bed, headboard and night stand for my 2yr and it looks so beautiful. Instructions are very easy to follow, a bit time consuming but well worth the price. Its very sturdy and so perfect for a first bedroom for my little NiNa. She loves it!
I put this dresser together myself, it says you need two people, and now power drill, you need to have an electric screwdriver, it makes it so easy. Also you have to pay attention to the left side vs the right side, there is a difference. It took me like 5 hr to put this together none stop. No the directions aren't that clear. Small drawers, not for adult clothing, or large people. This is really a baby dresser or kids dreser. Fits with any decor, and with the color you can pit in a diff color and it will work. Wood isnt like that cheap fiber board, stuff that dressers are now made of. Once together it is a beautiful piece of furniture. I plan on getting the whole set!
Love this product from South Shore Lily Rose collection. Now that we have the double dresser, we plan to buy more of this collection. It is a beautiful dresser and the light pine color helps lighten the room.
There are many parts and pieces so I was very patient and no rush to get it done. I followed the instructions carefully and it was completed easier than I thought. Be careful handling the pieces because the wood veneers are delicate and you don't want to chip a corner (especially the top part). Drawer knobs are a little loose so you might need to add a flat ring on the back to hold it in place. You will need some help when putting it all together and definitely lifting/moving it since its a little heavy. I recommend to put in the drawers once you've moved the bureau to its place. Overall its inexpensive, it works great for my tween daughter and its a pretty piece of furniture that will organize her things better until she's a bit older and I decide to buy her a full bedroom set.
This dresser looks nice except its a wrong color. If you expect to get a nice pine color like on the picture you are not going to get it. It's actually a washed off white color. It's a nice dresser and it would get a 5 star review if it was the color like on the picture. Going back to the store
The dresser is smaller than expected and the drawers don't open smoothly and don't hold much.
I ordered this product in April 2009, I did not get it until July 2009. It was not too hard to assemble but the knobs fell off in one week and would not screw back on, I had to buy new knobs. The color is ok because it matches my baby crib but that`s all that I like about this dresser. If you don`t mind buying new knobs then by all means go ahead and buy this dresser...that`s if you can stand the wait to get it.
I have had this dresser for less than a year and I already have to replace it! It took FOREVER to put together and some pieces didnt even fit together correctly, and I have assembled plenty of furniture. It is very unsturdy, after assembling it we tried to slide it to it's spot and the bottom piece started giving! Also, we have had a small 19 inch tv on the center of it and it is now caving in the whole dresser after only 7 months. Most of the knobs came off within weeks as they are only glued to the metal screw. I thought this would be a nice addition to my daughters' room but I shouldve spent a little more so I wouldnt have to replace it so soon!
