Rugs go well in bathroom
I bought this rug to accent the accesories set. It really completes the entire look. I have had only one complaint with it, and that is the rug is not very skid resistant. I found this out while bathing my 2 yr.old and it slid right out from under me when I went to stand up. I am now looking for a way to make it stay put better. Other than that it's plush, and alot bigger than I expected.
I read the other reviews and I do agree that it slides some but we have not had any trouble. It is really pretty and I washed it and it turned out wonderful
I actually received this bath mat as a hand-me-down and was quite fond of it when I got it. It's soft enough and I like the colors because the match almost perfectly with the tan color theme in my bathroom. Drawbacks- it is kind of small for a bath mat and I almost prefer a bigger one, in the squares with the dragonflies not a whole lot of water absorbancy Pros- It is very durable and I say this because I frequently throw my bath stuff in the washer and dryer with no concern on how it should be treated. It has always come out fine and even fluffs out a little more after washing and drying. I don't have any missing patches in the mat even after dozens of washes.
I purchased this for a shower gift because it was on a gift registry. It was only available online, not in my local Wal-Mart store. If I had seen it at the store, I would not have purchased it. It is, as someone else commented, very thin. What disappointed me more than that, though, is that there is no latex rubber on the back to prevent it from sliding across the floor. The online description doesn't mention that there should be one, but on the rug itself there is a large attatched paper tag that clearly states it has a rubber latex backing. The factory dropped the ball on this one!! If I had reordered one, there's no guarantee the replacement rug would be any different. Since it takes 10 business days to receive SiteToStore items, I didn't have time to reorder one before the shower anyway. The other thing that you can't tell from the online photo/description is that the white squares containing the dragonflies are a cheap felt-like fabric. Those squares are going to wear differently than the nylon over time, especially when they're walked on/stepped on regularly. I would not recommend this product - especially for a gift!
I got this rug to complete the whole Dragonfly theme. It is cheaply made, extremely low thread count (you can see bald patches in rose), not soft, not thick, and smaller than dimensions listed. Not ruber backed, so it slides all over the floor. It will probably fall apart when I wash it. If you want to complete your Dragonfly ensemble, just buy a nicer rug in a beige or brown color!
Not what I was expecting. Thin and flimsy and over priced!
Online the rug looks like it would be thick and soft but when I picked it up it was folded into a tiny box and there is no rubber backing. For a bathroom rug it does NOT meet standards. The coloring is also not what it appears to be compared to the online photo.
This bathroom rug looked nic online, but when it arrived, it was very thin and nearly fell apart after being washed. I should have taken it back once I opened up the tiny box and it was wadded up like paper towel.
