LOVE the look! Color is bright but not jarring. Sizes work well. HOWEVER! Somehow I missed the point when shopping that these rugs are not washable. Let me amend that: the instructions on the packaging say to vacuum well and to spot clean. They do not say "Do not wash." I believe that is inferred. Now, for me, washing bathroom carpeting is a MUST. I hope very much it works out; I will be gentle.
I agree with other reviewers, they are def. not shag rugs as advertised. The price is decent and durable in the washer/dryer (gentle cycle, followed by lowest dyer setting for 5 min or air dry). Plus, they stay in place due to the backing. Still wish they would have been shag. They should remove the word shag from the description, it's very misleading to the consumer. Owned for almost 8 mos. Would I recommend? Both yes and no. Yes- Not bad for the price. Good size rugs (see measurements). Durable for the long haul. Good for guest bathrooms, kids rooms. I used the 2 sets as kitchen rugs in a mother-in-law guest house. Easy to wash and holds-up to weekly washer/dryer cleaning. They've held up to kittens playing with them, as well. No- I thought I was purchasing shag rugs, not regular looking bathroom rugs. Very Misleading and disappointed when I opened the box. As long as you're not expecting a true shag style rug, you may like them. I wouldn't use them in my personal bathroom.
My other rugs with rubber backing stay put - this one slides around. Not a long and full shag but rather chintzy. But I like the unusual color which was hard to find.
I've been wanting black shag bath rugs for my master bath for a while. I read the reviews before my purchase, but decided to take my chances anyway. Though a good value for a two piece, I expected the quality to be similar to a two piece shag I purchased from another store for around the same price.The texture isn't what I expected. The shag, & rug itself,is thin, not thick & plush to dig your toes into. I don't like to feel the bottom of the rug. This will be a temporary set. Will continue my hunt for the perfect black shag rugs.
The price was cheap but you get what you paid for. When I pulled it out of the packaging, some of the shag fell out. It is sparsely woven you can see plastic in between the shag.

The rugs were cheap made. You can see through the carpet to the rubber mat on the back. There were places where the carpet was pulled out in to long strings. Waste of money
this shag rug is not what you call shag. when you think of shag you think plush thick carpet. not this flat paper thin bath rugs. they are bright pink which are pretty but paper thin I ordered online and that was a mistake . I should have felt it at the store I sure would not have bought this product. disappointment is not even close to how I feel about this product. when you get out of the shower you want a thick rug to soak up the water not a thin carpet that you feel the cold hard floor . yuck.
I was expecting a thick shag but it turned out really thin and the material sheds. Not great for use in a bathroom.
This Garland Fiesta Bath Rug was not what I expected. It was cheap quality. you could see the white matting through the rug threads. Not plush, shaggy or soft at all. very cheap look and feel. I brought it back to store. Would not recommend this to anyone !!!
