I purchased this cause my bathroom has not shelving or closet space and needed a place to keep my lotions and such. This works great. For the smaller items since it is cage like I just cut a nice piece of poster board out and laid it on the bottom and that worked well to make it solid for those smaller bottles and items. Love it. Am thinking of getting a few more for other rooms in my home for storage.
I needed a storage unit for a small closet. the measurements of this shelving unit fit the space perfectly. I am using it mostly for rubbermaid bowls, paper towel rolls. Will not do well with heavy items.
I have an old old one for pots and pans and tuperware stuff...sturdier and stronger than the 2 new ones purchased. New ones hold about 90 videos each. EASY to assemble, so I don't know why some have problems with assembly...incredibly easy to assemble. Whitmor service is excellent, and was needed (One shelf was defective and they sent replacement immediately, needing only the part number). Got the second new cart a week later, loaded it with videos, and pushed it under entertainment counter...too heavy and tile bump caused two wire shelf-hangers to break. Called Whitmor and replacement for broken end is on way. Pushing a load long ways is a weakness, so care is needed. Whitmor service is close to best (if not best) I have ever seen.
Smaller than I expected and somewhat flimsy. Would not be good for heavy items. Wheels roll nicely.
Flimsy. I have had one similar for 5+ years that I bought locally and expected this would be similar--hard to tell when mfgr doesn't brand the item--it is solid. This is not. However, serves the purpose for now.
Half the support bars on this thing were broken off in the box, not that it would have mattered - even if they were there, the way this thing goes together, it would have fallen apart the first time you tried to roll it across the floor. I had to zip tie the thing together. Really bad, keep looking.
I got this cart and it broke within the first couple of days so i had to take it back to the store. The top bottom bar broke off so the top basket was unusable therefore I had to take it back. The cart wobbles back and forth when you move it. Would not recommend buying this. waste of time and money.
What a bunch of junk, it was broken and not at all sturdy and the casters would not stay in. There is no way it is usable for anything of any weight. The card inside said not to return to the store. I'm throwing it in the trash.
This storage cart is inadequate in many ways: weak construction, welds don't hold, wobbly when put in use. It will not hold or store anything that is weighty like books, tools, or equipment, because it starts to sway. It is hard to put together, and the directions require mind reading. I returned the two that I bought and opted for a much sturdier cart for my basement. The Walmart catalog should have more information about how much weight this cart can stand.
