The single blade, instead of a T shaped blade, is much harder to draw across the surface perpendicular to the surface. The flexible handle is too flexible and the small blade on the end is difficult to use, of dubious value. I'll be looking for the original design next time. Walmart delivery was great.
I got the 20083 latest model jelly blade. Don't buy it. I've been in the trade, washed, detailed and polished cars. This item is nowhere near as effective as a good, clean chamois, which you have to use anyway to finish the job, because the blade simply won't wipe off many areas and parts of cars, and areas it will cover have to go over more than once. Wasted my money. At best it does a general, incomplete wipe down before the real work of the chamois, so why bother with the blade? I'll see if Walmart wants to refund the price.
I bought this to replace my 15 year old California Water blade which had the straight rigid purple plastic handle with T-shaped silicone blade. This jelly blade does not remove water as smoothly or completely and is a complete disappointment.
