AuhMayZing results! Follow the instructions, take your time.. you will see results..clearly! Attached photos..before.. during and after. Included another shot of right side as lighting and trees made it still look a little foggy in the head on picture. Female done and approved! Highly recommend !!
I bought this for my wife's Honda pilot, whose headlights looked like they were about done. Super foggy, scratched up, and looked like there was barely any light coming through. Took me about an hour to do, but the finished results are amazing! They look like brand new headlight covers!! I had my doubts about it, but it definitely worked great. Took my time and followed the directions step-by-step. will definitely use again and will definitely recommend. I used two different drills, a variable speed at first for the sanding, and then the polishing and 3000 grit sanding. I used a high speed drill for that. Turned out amazing!!!
I purchased this kit about a month ago. I used mothers sanding discs to sand down the yellow residue on my headlights and fog lights. Taking the extra time, to do a good job, with the sanding discs, paid off. After sanding the headlights and parking, I used the blue drill attachment to put about three coats of Mothers plastic polish that was included in the kit. It made the headlights, parking lights and fog lights look like new. I followed up with Meguiars clear coat spray. I used three coats to seal in the brand new headlights look from this product. If you take your time and put in the work it will show in the finished product. I would recommend this product to anyone with yellowed and dim headlights, fog lights and parking lights that are discolored. I didn't believe it would make a difference on my parking lights, but it made them look great.
I'm still astounded how well this worked. I bought a used car and the headlights aged it terribly. I decided to splurge a bit on this kit, because of the drill attachments. It was worth every penny! I've tried the cheaper kits on other cars and after a lot of elbow grease, with results leaving much to be desired. THIS kit worked incredible! In a fraction of the time. It is a bit messy if you're not careful, so be sure you're clear of other vehicles. All overspray wiped off everything anyway. I'll always recommend it.
This product is absolutely amazing. We have tried every product out there and we have never gotten these results! So very pleased. Thank you very much for such an amazing product that works. Whole process per vehicle took about 30 minutes each. The proof is in my pictures!
The box has instructions for using just the polish and the instructions included said you only needed to sand/polish if that didn't work. I started with just the polish and I'm happy with the results. Of it doesn't hold up I'm going to do the full thing, but they look great so far. Before and after photos included.
I filled my detail cabinet with Mothers Products for my cars and motorcycles. The detailer , aluminum polish and VLR stick out amongst the top items. I just won a Concours with my motorcycle and couldn't be happier with the products that brought home the trophy.
I purchased this product thinking that it would be a win. after working on both headlights, they both have a hazy scuff mark still on them after multiple coats with the Powerball. I do not recommend this product.
Worked great on my car, so I thought I would do it on my mothers car as well, everything was going great until the final step when the brush tool just exploded halfway through the final headlight. At first it was just a retaining clip, so I just clipped it back on, hoping for the best, but then promptly exploded again. Which is a real shame, because I was going to use it as a general detailing brush once I was done with the headlights. So I guess as long as you're only doing one car, it will work just fine!
Spent an hour sanding headlights getting them perfect. Used last sanding pad, cheap garbage melted on my headlights and can't be fixed. BEWARE!!!!
