I cannot believe how well this works in restoring trim back to black. It doesn't wash off either after multiple car washes. If you need your trim brought back to life this is the ticket right here!
I'm a die hard chemical guys products fan. I love to try out the new items that come out and when I saw this one I had to have it. I tried it for the first time and I was hooked. It definitely made my tires shine.
Renewed the luster to the exterior black vinyl trim, and Wow tires look great! Used on my wifes's Acadia. Very easy to apply, used micro fiber applicator. Dries quickly too.
This dressing works great for protecting and maintaining a nice sheen on black plastic and tires. I haven't seen a buildup of brownish brake dust on the tires and the black plastic trim has stopped looking lighter (heading towards gray). I wouldn't say that it's an extremely glossy shine like a "wet look" except for when it first goes on. Once it dries the rubber and plastic have a nice, dark sheen like they are fresh from the factory. It even smells great!
I have tried a lot of tire shines and chemical guys brand are definitely in my top three. Leaves the tire with a new and no drip look. Last along time and you can't beat the price. Chemical Guys keeps providing excellent products and great prices.
It works OK but I don't think I will buy it again
This product works great i try over a hundred tires shines.
I'm surprised this product doesn't have more reviews. I detail professionally, so I've tried many silicone based & water based dressings over time, including ones that are infused with si02, somehow this one is still to this day the best dressing I've ever used. One coat of this product leaves the tires so nicely shiny (not a super "wet" shine, but a more well detailed shine like as if it perfectly fills in the intricacies of the tire to create a perfected appearance)........& it lasts for weeks every time without fail, through rainstorms and everything. I wasn't intending on writing this review, but I've been getting sick of how badly CG gets ragged on in the professional detailing community. CG's problem is that they focus too much on entertaining the enthusiast consumers with various products such as cleverly named air fresheners, and making numerous variants of pre-existing products instead of spending more R&D $ on improving some of their products that lack in performance versus the competitors. That is important to note, because some people unfortunately get turned away by these hateful remarks about the brand, when CG truly does have a large number of top notch products. As a professional, I can say that most of their products are A1 and perform just as well, if not better than many other professional brands. This product along with Glossworkz soap, Pete's 53 paste wax, butter wet wax, silk shine, all of their microfiber towels, many of their detailing tools, and polishing pads are just some of the products off the top of my head that I can advocate for from CG. If you are in the market for a new, high shine silicone based dressing, I highly recommend this one, you won't be disappointed.
Bought this product a couple weeks ago, this product does an awesome job on plastic trimming of a vehicle! Brings it back to life and protects it very well. Tires are a different story, this dressing did not have the shine I was looking for on the tires. I purchased the V7 an completely love it! I now buy both products.
I spray on after cleaning the wheels. Have a old brush to spread i into the nicks and groves, it really stay black for a while, when I get through cleaning my truck I had several people that say they appreciate to see a person who really take care of a black vehicle, some ask what I'm using I say go online to chemical guys
