I tried a cleaner wax on our 2011 38 foot 5th wheel with poor results. Being somewhat of a skeptic, I ordered the Meguiars kit as a last resort. It works extremely well and is relatively easy to use. I did all steps by hand. I recommend this product to anyone with an oxidized RV or boat with Gel coat fiberglass. The RV looks like new.
We purchased a 1989 Boat with lots of oxidation and this product worked great. It brought back the luster and shine of a new boat.
We used this kit with a dual action buffer to refinish our very faded and oxidized gray 5th wheel. The results are fantastic! Our 5th wheel now looks new again. Thanks Meguiar! Picture shows right side refinished, left is original. We used 3 boxes to refinish all fours sides of a 35 foot RV.
did a great job restoring finish on a small boat
My 22 year old boat was a real test for this restoration kit. The finish was very flat and had no shine at all. It does take a good bit of work, but the results are worth it. I used the Meguiar's drill gun D/A polisher & application pads to insure good results. I wouldn't advise doing the job without a power buffer unless you want to put in a lot of time. I'm pleased with the shine and smooth finish. I would buy this product again.
Had some pretty good oxidation on whole camper. ( I've used this product before ) As always for me, it does its job. I apply by a d/a and take off with one as well. Working under cover or a shady spot helps and one can cover a little more area at a time. I don't recommend trying it in the sun.
I bought this to renew the finish on a 26 yr 32' boat. The oxidation remover worked great on most areas, bring back the lustre. The polish looked so good after I used it, I thought I wouldn't even need to wax it. After I waxed it, I looked at it and was pleasently suprised it looked so good. Took 14hrs but was well worth it. I used various pads with an orbital polisher, one for cutting, one for polish, and the last one for waxing. I used 50% of the oxidation remover and 75% of the polish and wax. Not bad at all considering the size of the boat. I would buy again
Worked well. I would say you really need to use the buffing pad made by them. Saves time. It was really oxidized, but took most of it out. Still not as shinny, but looks good.
box was worn and fell apart when i took off the shipping paper. not sure if bottles had been opened. doesn't smell like the other meguiars wax i had
I ordered this product, but did not receive it. I received One Step Compound instead. I also discovered I have to pay for the FedEx return myself- for their error. Very, very displeased.
