I was looking for The best product I could find to best protect my Z4 cloth soft top. I followed directions and the water just rolled off the top like crazy! I did a lot of research before purchasing 303 and am now a customer for life! Be sure to cover your windows and it's not a bad idea to cover the car body just below the windows. It will save you a ton of time trying to get any excess off your car. I masked and papered it like I was painting trim in a house. It will make the clean up so much easier if you prepare ahead of time.
I use this on my 23t-bucket cloth top and love how easy it was to use ,keeps my top looking new ,
This product works Great! I use it on the fabric top on my Chrysler Crossfire Roadster. The only caution I would say is to be careful to not get the top coat on your paint. It is hard to get off!
Fantastic for the used rag top. The cleaner worked really well and was easy to rinse. The protectant provided great water beading post-treatment. Procedure I found effective: Vacuum top with a soft brush attachment prior to wetting for cleaning. Use of a sticky-tape lint roller is also useful. Wet top using shower setting on hose (jet setting isn't required or helpful). Be careful around any rips, tears, abrasions, or failed seals on the top. Spray on cleaner and work in gently with a horsehair or other soft brush. Rinse thoroughly using shower setting on hose. Dry with microfiber drying cloth. Allow to dry completely. Mask off glass and paint before applying protectant. Spray protectant on top in a sweeping motion, overlapping each section (like you would use spraypaint). Buff off any overspray before it dries.
I have used this product in the past and I was pleased with the results. This is my second purchase.
This is the only product I have used on my Mini Cooper S soft top and it looks as good as when it rolled off the assembly line. Soft tops should only be washed every other month or so and this product deep cleans and restores water repellency like no other. In between cleanings use a hand vacuum to remove dust and imbedded dirt. I cannot recommend 303 products enough.
Not first time i purchased this product. The brand is awesome. Cleans and protects convertible top really well!
Black tops gray fairly fast, 303 restores original color and protects against rain and sun.
I used this product on my fabric top convertible (Volkswagen Beetle). The cleaner worked great and was easy to use. It really helped to get the top back to original and removed all of the dust and dirt that had accumulated throughout the years. The fabric guard worked great also. The most important item is to make sure that you protect all other surfaces from overspray as it is difficult to remove. Also, I only used 1/2 of the container of cleaner but was down to the end of the fabric guard bottle. For a larger top, I would suggest an extra container of the fabric guard. My top now beads like a freshly waxed car. I would recommend this product for any fabric top.
I read high ratings about this kit but water doesnt bead and used the entire can on my Mini Cooper too. The cleaner appears to have worked but no beading
